Ruth Negga In Miu Miu – 89th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon

Ruth Negga was another guest at the 89th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon on Monday (February 6) in Beverly Hills who found inspiration in a retro style sensibility.

However, rather than a more mod flair like Michelle Williams, Ruth turned up the vintage schoolgirl charm in an embroidered Miu Miu sweater.

Lest the flower power of that top not get too sweet, she edged it up with a black leather Miu Miu swing skirt that was a bold choice for this pastel colour palette.

More girly quirkiness was added by way of a quilted pink clutch and embellished kitten heels for this look that saw prim and proper collide with just a dash of punk.
