Olivia Wilde In Mary Katrantzou - 2015 Global Citizen Festival In Central Park To End Extreme Poverty By 2030

Olivia Wilde attended the Global Citizen Festival to end extreme poverty by 2030 in Central Park on Saturday (September 26) in New York City.

Displaying her true colours in more ways than one, the actress paired the rainbow-inspired, op-art stripes of her Mary Katrantzou Resort 2016 multi-hued skirt with a festival T-shirt showing her solidarity for the cause.

What’s more, she upped the ante on urban hip-hop edge with a black leather biker jacket and sneakers, entirely making this look her own.

On paper, it shouldn’t work. But in execution, she delivers this look with a punchy hit of glorious attitude.

Wrong…I hope she is not paying a stylist to look like this. Yikes!

A plain top and proper shoes rather than sneakers would have been much better with this skirt.

Nothing works here. I like the skirt but by its self

  4. Trinny September 28, 2015 at 6:14 pm #

Everything here just feels way out of proportion…

If you call ruining an outfit as ” making the look her own”, then she certainly did it.
    Total flop.

No, no, no. This is maybe a look for a semi-rebellious teenager who wore a skirt because her Mom insisted on it and not a look for a grown woman.

I feel the look is appropriate for the event however if a supermodel like gisele wore this, it may have worked.

The skirt is just too long and if it was short, it could have been a fun look appropriate for the event

To me this just doesn’t work at all. It’s criminal to ruin such a beautiful outfit just to be on message which ends up making her look contrived

  9. Bailey September 28, 2015 at 4:36 pm #

    This is a terrible look..

  10. Carolina September 28, 2015 at 4:09 pm #

I agree with others – this really does not work at all. In fact, the outfit detracts from her rather graceful beauty.

    What is thisssss

  12. Paulo September 28, 2015 at 3:17 pm #

I find this look very juvenile. She can do better.

Complete mess! What an odd combo for her.

  14. elena September 28, 2015 at 1:41 pm #

    This is hideous!!

  15. Chris September 28, 2015 at 1:27 pm #

The combination of things here is *very* irritating… the top half with that skirt and the shoes… this is a mess.

  16. Yeliz September 28, 2015 at 1:17 pm #

This doesn’t work. This would’ve worked had the skirt been shorter, imo.

  17. Alina September 28, 2015 at 1:10 pm #

    This is a mess.

Major mess. I can behind where she was going with the tee and jacket but the skirt and shoes are absurd. Pretty hair and makeup though.

I love the lookbook version but I don’t think this combo works at all. The proportions are really off. Maybe if the leather jacket had been cropped, the shoes were less clunky, and her hair was up or back …
