Kiernan Shipka In Christian Dior Couture – 2015 Emmy Awards

Kiernan Shipka took to the red carpet of the 2015 Emmy Awards on Sunday night (September 20) at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

The young starlet thankfully recently reintroduced bright colour back to her style vocabulary, but this Christian Dior Fall 2012 Couture look sees her straddling the line back into black territory.

While I appreciate the directional charm of this flirty, feminine pouf dress juxtaposed with the mannish trousers, the contrast between the decorative pastel hues and the black pants is too jarring for my liking.

She wears the ensemble with a youthfully fun spirit, but I didn’t like the look when it was presented on the runway and that sentiment has not changed.
