Like Kate Mara and Sofia Vergara, Reese Witherspoon also skipped a walk down the blue carpet at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (April 12) in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Wild’ actress, who generally plays it safe and sweet on the fashion front, stayed within her comfort zone in a black-and-white mini Mulger Fall 2015 dress with a small side slit.

However, the bold, graphic appeal of the two-tone frock did make an impactful statement. And those glowing neon-pink Christian Louboutin ‘Dalida’ pumps had her tiptoeing away from the safe area—they were the best part of the look.
