Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Goat & Tory Burch – Northside Center, Wildlife Reception & Cavaliers vs Brooklyn Nets NBA Game

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Goat & Tory Burch - Northside Center, Wildlife Reception & Cavaliers vs Brooklyn Nets NBA Game

On the second day (December 8) of the official visit of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, to New York City the Duchess took part in gift wrapping with volunteers while visiting the Northside Center for Child Development in Harlem before attending a Wildlife reception meeting Hillary and Chelsea Clinton and taking in the Cleveland Cavaliers vs Brooklyn Nets NBA game.

Northside Center: Greeted by the First Lady of New York, Chirlane McCray, who wore Nanette Lepore, Catherine wore a black 60s-style Goat coat edged with beige trim at the neckline, cuffs and back. Styled with tights, a Mulberry clutch and black pumps, the coat is practical, versatile and utterly timeless.

Wildlife Reception & Cavaliers vs Brooklyn Nets NBA Game: Later that evening the future King and Queen of England met the King and Queen of New York (Jay-Z and Beyoncé Knowles). The Queen wore a Tanya Taylor Fall 2014 printed blouse and black Herve Leger pencil skirt, which she styled with a Louis Vuitton bag, while the Duchess opted for black trousers and the same black pumps, making her Tory Burch ‘Bettina’ boucle coat the focus of her look. The tailored piece is classic tweed, easy to wear and streamlined with a cut that is universally flattering, covering her baby bump and ensuring she stays warm in the cold weather.

For what she was doing, her looks are as always appropriate, but like I said yesterday, I’m longing for a more glamorous occasion during this trip to see what she delivers.
