Jennifer Nettles In Christian Siriano – 2014 CMA Awards

Jennifer Nettles In Christian Siriano - 2014 CMA Awards

Jennifer Nettles attended the 48th annual CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 5) in Nashville, Tennessee.

The singer always makes a striking entrance and this occasion was no different.

She wore a Christian Siriano Resort 2015 luxurious silk faille tailored gown in a ball gown silhouette, finished with waist-high pockets.

The styling was kept very simple, with just a few diamond jewels, neutral makeup and a sweeping updo completing her look.

Did she make too much of the pockets?

I love the simplicity and elegance of this. It’s a nice change of pace for her. But she did over-pose those pockets.

I love Jennifer Nettles because she is so classy. I wanted color though.

This is missing something. There are only those pockets. Too bad.

Its simple, the pockets are a nice touch…if they were in the right position. Why pockets should be that close together ill never understand. Thats a bad design decision, but also, how are Jennifer’s wrists not sore from keeping her hands like that for almost every picture from her arrival?

Love everything about this look. Wouldn’t mind to see it up for BDOTW.

It’s ok but the pose is awk.

I’m glad she stood by the simplicity of the look, and I love the pockets. My only issue is how awkwardly her fingers are only half-dipping in each pocket to show off the ring, making her look like she’s stiffly holding her arms up in that pose. Kind of defeats the relaxed vibe the pockets give.

The look is a bit too one-note, needed some statement accent to break up all that dark material – a pretty clutch would’ve enhanced the look and solved the ‘hands in the pockets’ problem.
