Celebrating her 28th birthday, Emmy Rossum dined out at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood, California with her boyfriend on Saturday (September 13) before headed to the LA Opera opening night.

Looking nothing short of spectacular on her special day, the ‘Shameless’ actress wore an Oscar de la Renta Fall 2014 black and white polka-dot strapless gown with a frothy tiered layered skirt.

This is both classic Emmy and classic Oscar de la Renta: elegant and sophisticated with a ladylike quality which easily charms.

Opting for neutral makeup, she added a pop of colour via her fuchsia-pink clutch.
