Emily Osment In Mara Hoffman – ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ LA Premiere

Emily Osment In Mara Hoffman - 'The Hunger Games Catching Fire' LA Premiere

Emily Osment added a kaleidoscopic mix of colours to the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California on Monday evening.

Her Mara Hoffman Fall 2013 column dress in a bold geometric stained-glass print was styled with a solid black clutch and a side-swept bun to show off that rounded neckline and ensure nothing obscured her open back.

Bold and beautiful or too loud?

Horrible! She’s like me has no waist line !

The print makes it feel a bit casual for an event like that.

I really like the dress and the hairstyle, but not the clutch.

She’s too short. The diamonds look too big on her. The first diamond should begin below the bust line not the top of the dress. Turn the fabric upside down on both girls, not the runway model.

Interesting comments–you really have a point. I do like the dress, but agree the clutch almost kills the look–it looks cheap and is way too big.

I also noticed that the pattern is different on the runway from hers and the lookbook. On the runway, the black diamond-y shape creates almost a little illusion panel between hips and chest emphasising a flattering hourglass figure. I wonder if that would have helped Emily a little.

    Hate the dress.

I love this dress. Her hair is perfect. Wish the clutch were a bit smaller and prettier. If the shoes are platforms, I don’t want to know, lol.

      Haha, I agree with you.

Doesn’t flatter her in the way it flatters the model. And the clutch is just too bulky.

      I agree.
