Blake Lively In Balmain – Announcement Of The New Face Of L’Oreal Paris

Already the spokesperson for Gucci’s Première fragrance, Blake Lively was announced as the newest face of L’Oréal Paris via the brand Instagram yesterday morning.

The actress was clearly overjoyed about the partnership, saying, “I’m thrilled and honoured to join the incredible women who represent L’Oréal Paris. I grew up with the inspiration of their message, ‘We’re worth it’; what an important value to instil in women.”

Blake is in good company joining the L’Oréal Paris Dream Team, which includes Lara Stone (their newest ambassador), Gwen Stefani, Cheryl Cole, Freida Pinto, Julianne Moore, Jane Fonda, Fan Bingbing, Eva Longoria, Liya Kebede, Inès de La Fressange, Sonam Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Doutzen Kroes.

Bring on Cannes 2014.

For the official announcement held at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris, France yesterday evening, the actress turned to another French brand, Balmain.

She donned a blue-and-white off-the-shoulder, long-sleeve Spring 2014 bouclé houndstooth dress with a pleated flounced skirt accented with a shimmering silver belt with a gold link-chain trim.
I love the dress. It’s so clean and fresh and therefore appropriate for a beauty launch.

The nude Christian Louboutin ‘Filter’ pumps with a shot of glamorous sparkle via her crystal-dipped heels wouldn’t have been my first choice, but they do an amazing job of elongating her slender legs.

I would’ve also preferred her hair up, but beauty does encompass hair, so glossy, flowing tresses were of course required here.
