Blue nails were one of the top trends to go down the Fall 2012 runway seen at Erdem and Oscar de la Renta.

Celebs have already embraced it with various shades of cerulean hitting the red carpet all summer long.

From Marion Cotillard’s pale blue on both fingers and toes at ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ New York premiere to robin’s egg on both Taylor Swift at the ‘Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards’ and Emma Stone at the ‘Met Gala’, to slate blue on Ginnifer Goodwin at the ‘Critics Choice Awards’, these ladies aren’t afraid to be bold in their nail colour choices.

If you’re feeling a little unsure of the blues or it’s simply not workplace appropriate, try it on your next pedicure.

Toes are an easy place to switch it up and embrace a trendy colour. A pale shade will complement your summer tan while a deep shade will really stand out against pale skin. All of them will look smashing with the sandals of summer and transition well into fall.
