Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham – Holt Renfrew Vancouver

Victoria Beckham made a guest appearance at the Holt Renfrew Vancouver store to present her Fall 2012 collection on Friday afternoon in Canada.

The designer was of course decked out in her own designer threads.

On this occasion she wore a navy-and-turquoise dress from her Spring 2012 collection.

Last month she tweeted “I love this dress and can’t wait to wear it!!!! It is exclusive to @NETAPORTER x vb”.

So it looks like she finally found the right occasion.

Regular readers will know that this is VB’s third version of this dress, as she’s worn the runway orange-and-navy version plus the navy and light-blue version.

Apart from this dress, there are three other things VB favours. Her signature pose, her side-swept braid and over-the-knee boots.

I love Victoria, but I wish she would consider a strappy sandal once in a while.

These Louboutin’s and her Tom Ford open-toe boots weigh down every look.

An aqua leather clutch from her Spring 2012 collection and a maroon nail colour provided the finishing touches to her meet-and-greet look.

This is my favourite colour combination so far. I am so glad she didn’t wear the terrible leather boots but she really needs to up her shoe game.

I looove the dress, but those boots totally ruin the look.

well, if she can’t wear strappy sandals, is it a problem to take pretty pumps at least once? And by pretty pumps I don’t mean daffodile/highness or other horrible platforms.

I know it would have been very matchy matchy but I would have loved this paired with Aperlai’s ‘Karine’ sandals:

I’m not a big fan of her but I must say that she looks beautiful. I love her make up and the braid. But those boots… I think I prefer the Daffodile to them!

I take these boots over those platform daffodil’s anytime…

Wow, Venus must have been circling. Are my eyes being funny, or do I see that Posh spice has finally decided to come out of mourning, and plunge for some color?! Good for you, the highlights and the long hair score her some bonus points!

God, she takes repeat offender to a whole new level. It’s that same pose and hair and dress and everything, nothing has changed.

Hasn’t VB got the worlds worst feet, with wicked bunions etc? She isn’t going to show off her feet with strappy sandals anytime soon.

    Nailed it!

  17. Natalie19 June 16, 2012 at 2:48 am #

Well, strappy sandal or any kind of open shoes is not for her.

I’m not sure how her condition called, but she has smth with her feet, you can see it here:

She used to wear nothing but strappy sandals and the horrible UK tabloids used to post entire articles featuring close-ups of her bunions. I’d be humiliated into wearing closed shoes all the time too if I were her. But I agree, she could still go a little lighter than the huge clunky CL’s she seems to favour.

For a second, I thought there was a glitch and we got an entry from a few months ago on this page. This is far too familiar a look for VB.

Even though she is a beautiful talented designer, but please, NO MORE VB IN VB !

Love everything (the hair, makeup, nail polish, the dress and the clutch) except for the shoes.

I prefer her navy version of this dress over this one. I do wish she would try something never every once in a while. Those boots are honestly atrocious. I don’t say this to be mean, but I truly do not understand how someone could possibly like those boots with this dress.
