Christa B. Allen In Donna Karan – American Red Cross Annual Red Tie Affair

Christa B. Allen attended the American Red Cross Annual Red Tie Affair in Santa Monica on Saturday evening.

The ‘Revenge’ actress supported the organization in a tea-length Donna Karan Pre-Fall 2012 dress with origami-like folding details on the bust line.

Playing up the dress’ vintage quality, Christa accessorized with a vintage Hermes belt and vintage YSL earrings, both from Decades.

Black Christian Louboutin heels and a gold Judith Leiber clutch and a side swept ponytail completed the look.

Wow! She looks great. Perfect accessories. Hair/makeup could have been punched up a bit but I am not hating it, she looks fresh and young as she should. Between this and Alice Eve Donna Karan is having a great week!

agree with hanna on the hair, i don’t see what the problem is! she looks adorably chic.
BDOTW contender for me for sure!
i’m OBSESSED with revenge and have been dying to see her step it up and make a splash! i think she definitely succeeded, this is perfection.

She looks stunning from head to toe!! Love this belt so much more than the runway look, and those earrings are stunning. And call me crazy but I love the hair.. She is only 20, I feel like a more polished hairstyle would have taken this too grown up. Definitely BDOTW for me, Donna Karan never looked this fresh and young!!

She looks great (minus the hair) and I like her belt a lot more than the one on the model.

A BDOTW contender for me! I LOVE this look. 🙂 She really made it her own!

Interesting sandals and hair out of her face would have helped. But she looks great.

The toe cleavage is just too distracting so I can’t focus on the dress.

Thsi si one collection which I never forsaw having many red carpet appearances, btu to me it has translated wonderfully to the red carpet (Nina Dobrev at the emmys is a prime example), but it’s a shame because it has been worn with universally boring shoes.

A DKNY look I like. She looks great!

Gorgeous dress, but clutch, shoes and hair are not good.

It’s a great dress, and I like her belt better than the runway version. Can tolerate the pointy black pumps as another nod to “vintage” feel. But what is up with that hair???! Too bad, because this would have been a fairly decent effort from somebody who is new to the red carpet game.

Why, oh why nobody wears proper undergarments with full-skirted dresses, i.e. petticoats? This would look even better with a bit of volume in the bottom of the skirt.
    Otherwise, a fantastic dress.

p.s. Gosh, I love this muted red colour.
