Christian Dior Fall 2014 Couture Front Row

Christian Dior Falll 2014 Couture Front Row

Christian Dior presented their Fall 2014 Haute Couture collection this afternoon (July 7) in Paris, France with a host of familiar faces in the front row.

Charlize Theron: The brand’s golden girl shimmered in the front row wearing a metallic-gold short-sleeved mini dress which showcased those gorgeous gams, which were elongated further with nude pumps. Yellow-gold Anita Ko diamond earring completed her look. Glamour in its simplest form.

Marion Cotillard: Of all the Dior ambassadors, the French actress has perhaps worn the brand most consistently. While not every look has been a hit, she is always a delight to watch. On this occasion she wore a Resort 2014 black top with a fold-over detail and printed silk-scarf panel paired with a high-waisted skirt. The styling was kept simple with Dior pumps and a Miss Dior bag, as was the hair and makeup. Anyone else think this look was crying out for a pair of red pumps?

Jennifer Lawrence: Despite going into her second term as a Dior ambassador, she is still the new kid on the block. Like Marion, Jennifer’s selections for Dior haven’t always been so well received, but on this occasion she proves herself a worthy ambassador, wearing a Resort 2014 ‘Noeud Dior’ printed silk-scarf top paired with a white suede high-waisted skirt. J’adore the two-tone black and white accessories, which included pumps with both ankle and asymmetrical straps, a patent-leather clutch, and Dior tribal earrings. We whine about Jennifer often looking too old in her Dior looks, but I’m sure you will agree this look doesn’t age her at all. This is one of my favourite JLaw/Dior looks (although not a fan of the makeup). And thank God her hairstylist realized they were working with a 20-something star and not Hillary Clinton.

Nina Dobrev In Versace – Atelier Versace Fall 2014 Show

Nina Dobrev In Versace - Atelier Versace Fall 2014 Show

Nina Dobrev attended the Atelier Versace show during Paris Haute Couture Fall 2014 fashion week on Sunday (July 6) in Paris, France.

The ‘Vampire’s Diaries’ starlet stuck to her tried and true style, donning a sexy little mini frock from Versace’s Fall 2014 collection.

Her black, red and white printed dress with fringed epaulettes and button detailing was styled with Versace black pumps and a black clutch, both featuring a gold trim.

While I want to say this look would’ve been better with her hair up, there were so many better looks she should’ve chosen from the collection.

Not really a fan of this dress at all.

Miu Miu Resort 2015 Front Row

Miu Miu Resort 2015

Miu Miu presented their Resort 2015 collection at the Palais d’Iena on Saturday (July 5) in Paris, France, to which they invited several celebrity guests.

Alexa Chung: The presenter wore a red satin Prada long-sleeved dress complemented with a black scarf, black Prada ankle-strap heels, and a Prada black ‘Saffiano Lux’ handbag. It’s nice to see Alexa working a different silhouette.

Léa Seydoux: As much as I adore Lea, this Miu Miu cream, silver and gold iridescent brocade zipper tunic and matching trousers make me think she’s wearing pyjamas. Fancy pyjamas, but pyjamas nonetheless. The look was styled with platform Miu Miu heels and a cream Miu Miu coat.

Gemma Arterton: The British actress once again stole my heart wearing this gorgeous Prada pink organza strapless dress with cascading crystal embroideries, which she styled with silver ankle-strap heels. While I love it on Gemma, I do wish Léa had worn this instead.

Jennifer Lopez In Atelier Versace – Atelier Versace Fall 2014 Show

Jennifer Lopez In Atelier Versace - Atelier Versace Fall 2014 Show

Jennifer Lopez was the guest of honour at the Atelier Versace Fall 2014 show on Day One of Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week on Sunday (July 6) in Paris, France.

Like Lady Gaga last season, JLo donned a look from said collection before it had even taken to the runway, selecting a white strapless hybrid gown with a thigh-high slit and one fully beaded trouser leg.

The look was accented with two metallic straps on the hip, which is the signature of this new collection.

This typical high-on-glamour JLo look was styled with an Atelier Versace bracelet and earrings and Versace silver sandals.

I have to say I am mildly obsessed with this look. She is the perfect Versace woman: unapologetic of her sex appeal.

Joe Jonas Front Row @ Milan Fashion Week Mens Spring 2015

Joe Jonas Front Row @ Milan Fashion Week Mens Spring 2015

Joe Jonas was spotted making the rounds at Milan Menswear Fashion Week Spring 2015 this past week, where the singer and former boy-band star suited up in several different looks for his front-row seat at the shows.

John Varvatos
: At the John Varvatos show, Joe sported a spiffy, casual look made more sleek in monochromatic black. A leather-look hood added zip to his sweater-hoodie, worn with black skinny jeans and loafers.

Missoni
: Moving onto Missoni, he took a more formal approach in a well-fitted, gray plaid two-button Vivienne Westwood suit, worn with a white dress shirt with accent buttons and sans tie.

Diesel Black Gold: Going back to a more laid-back mood at the Diesel Black Gold runway, he put on a pullover, colour-block sweater in navy and forest-green hues with another pair of dark skinny pants and black leather sneakers.

DSquared2: Rounding out his Men’s Fashion Week run, he returned to the gray suiting, this time dressing up in a double-breasted variety that was finished with a dark tie and shiny patent-black shoes.

Do you have a favourite look, or did Joe play it too standard and safe for fashion week?

Anna Dello Russo Front Row @ Milan Fashion Week Mens Spring 2015

Anna Dello Russo Front Row @ Milan Fashion Week Mens Spring 2015

Anna Dello Russo was front and centre during Milan Menswear Fashion Week Spring 2015 this past week, where the ‘Vogue’ Japan editrix was on her standard stylista behaviour, which is to say that she grabbed stares in a few rounds of flashy and splashy statements, whilst marching to the beat of her own fashion drum. Just another day on the front row for Anna.

Versace Show: ADR jump-started the collections on a shiny note, wearing a sequinned Ashish Spring 2014 colourfully striped mini-dress with Sophia Webster’s strikingly graphic ‘Riko’ sandals and a happy-face clutch. Did one of her first looks of men’s fashion week have you smiling?

Iceberg Show: Continuing the leggy theme, she sauntered out an Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2014 navy-blue, barely-there dress—a rather ironic choice for the Iceberg show. The frock featured the designer’s signature cutouts and sexy appeal, along with the spring collection’s triangular-shaped hem and cabochon buttons. Black booties and a gold Saint Laurent bag were mere afterthoughts to the pieced-together, skin-is-in dress.

Missoni Show: Switching from her Anthony Vaccarello edge to something a bit more sweet, she wore a Nina Ricci Spring 2014 flowery pastel dress, popped with a bolt of colour complements of Sophia Webster’s bold ‘Chiara’ butterfly sandals. A whimsical Yang Du clutch completed the look that actually wasn’t so innocent, given the see-through status of the dress that had her undies peeking through.
