Christian Dior Fall 2015 Couture Front Row

Dior 1
The Christian Dior Fall 2015 Couture front row was filled with Dior-dressed darlings, who watched the magical procession of confections make their way down a purple-hued runway on Monday (July 6) during Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France.

Emily Blunt
: Cutting a pristinely sophisticated profile, the actress struck a lovely balance between old Hollywood glamour and modern elegance in her sleek Christian Dior mock peplum dress styled with side-parted retro waves and Dior Fine Jewelry. Her navy clutch and houndstooth pumps were a glorious addition to her all-white look.

Lupita Nyong’o
: Unfortunately, the only element I liked about Lupita’s outing was the radiant red colour of her Dior dress. The frock itself translated as rather ill-fitting and far too twee for the actress, and the black Dior pumps, funky sunglasses, and Dior earrings did nothing to warm me to this look.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
: Changing her look by a full 180 degrees from her frow appearance at the Atelier Versace Fall 2015 show, the supermodel wore a plaid Dior jacket and shorts paired with Dior sandals and funky Dior shades. While the ensemble was likewise rather youthful, she carried it off with a sweet sense of chic panache so that the ‘too twee’ label need not apply.

Atelier Versace Fall 2015 Front Row

Atelier Versace Fall 2015 Front Row

The Atelier Versace Fall 2015 front row was well-seated with a trio of models who took the day off from the runway to watch the show on Sunday (July 5) in Paris, France. However, they might as well have just stepped off the catwalk in their attention-grabbing designer ensembles.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Her black Atelier Versace gown was inspired by the new Fall 2015 collection with its cutaway boning and romantically fluid silhouette, but the end effect was pure sultry, va-va-Versace appeal in this sheer statement that left little to the imagination.

Irina Shayk: The model strutted out a striking, lemon-yellow Versace Fall 2015 halter mini-dress that was all the more bold once paired with Versace Lucite-heeled sandals and Versace fine jewelry.

Natasha Poly: I loved the playful sexiness of Natasha’s Atelier Versace Spring 2015 black lace bralette and dirndl-style full skirt worn with black Versace pumps, as it was a flirty departure from curve-skimming and cutout-driven Versace playbook.

Valentino Spring 2016 Menswear Front Row

Valentino Spring 2016 Menswear Front Row

There were many guys taking their seats in the front row at the Valentino Spring 2016 menswear show in Paris, France on Wednesday (June 24), but it was two former boy banders who caught my eye.

Zayn Malik: While Zayn’s shirt and trousers combo were simple and sleek, it’s the Valentino Spring 2015 coat that perfectly portrays sartorial elegance with a modern twist. This ranks highly in my top 10 menswear looks of this year.

Joe Jonas: Nick Jonas as been the one impressing on the red carpet of late, but Joe proves that there is more than one Jonas brother who has a penchant for high fashion. His Valentino suit featuring a printed blazer from the Spring 2015 collection is not for the shy, retiring types. The cool edge of the look was further enhanced with Valentino Rockrunner sneakers.

Rihanna In Christian Dior – Christian Dior Fall 2015 Tokyo Show

Rhianna In Christian Dior - Christian Dior Fall 2015 TOKYO Show

Rihanna attended the Christian Dior Tokyo Autumn/Winter 2015-16 ready-to-wear show, hosted at The National Art Center Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday (June 16).

From top to toe, the songstress was decked out in the designer of the hour—and you will get no complaints from me.

I love the mix of edgy sassiness and girly femininity seen in her floral-embroidered denim Christian Dior dress paired with Dior burgundy and multi-coloured flower jacquard boots.

Her pink printed leather Diorama bag and Dior retro sunglasses brought even more of a glamorously fun punch to wrap up the look with additional sparkle provided by Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Gourmande Pastel’ earrings and Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Rose des vents’ bracelets.

It’s a rare occasion when a Rihanna look can be described as duly chic and charming, but this is one such occasion.

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2016 Menswear Front Row

Burberry men 1

The Burberry Prorsum Spring 2016 Menswear show was hosted on Monday (June 15) in London, England, where the front row was appropriately outfitted in a range of beautiful, Burberry-loving faces.

Suki Waterhouse: Although the British model-actress’s dress featured darker hues, the colourful embroidery of the mirror-embellished frock and the girly silhouette were appropriately sunny for summer. Fresh barely-there makeup and light waves were a lovely finish.

David Gandy: As suave as ever, the model was handsome in a three-piece gray Thom Sweeney suit accented by a navy micro-pinstripe dress shirt that, of course, had the winning effect of highlighting his own baby-blue eyes.

Sonam Kapoor: I loved the impeccable femininity of this white cropped top and pencil skirt, topped with a ballet-pink cropped jacket, which married elegant sophistication with modern edge. When styled with long curls and a deep oxblood lip, the allure was undeniable.

Gucci Resort 2016 Front Row

Gucci Resort 2016 Front Row

Gucci presented their Resort 2016 collection in New York City on Thursday (June 4) where the sidewalk of West 22nd Street became a runway.

Dakota Johnson: The actress’ Gucci Fall 2015 dress easily meets the style quotient of elegance with its lace formation and whimsy red ribbon detail which matched her bold lip colour. I can’t extend my love to her Gucci black leather loafers, but I must admit they do add some character to the look. Dakota carried the Gucci ‘Dionysus’ shoulder bag which proved to be a popular choice at this event.

Gia Coppola: The director opted to borrow from the boys, wearing a taupe blouse and rust-coloured trousers which was presented during the Mens Fall 2015 collection. This be the key to explain the oversized nature of the look. Gia also styled her look with the Gucci loafers and a Gucci ‘Dionysus’ shoulder beige suede bag.

Miraslava Duma: The Russian editor was by far my favourite of the bunch, and that wasn’t all down to her dainty footwear choice. I love how her Gucci Fall 2015 iridescent peach zig zag lurex dress with candy pink fur cuffs strikes the perfect balance between whimsy and modest primness.
