Front Row @ Gucci Fall 2018

Milan Fashion Week is in full swing, with the Gucci Fall 2018 show held on Wednesday (February 21) and style darlings in attendance.

Rowan Blanchard: Not only did the lime-green hue of this jumpsuit draw me in, so too did the retro-modern influences that Rowan flaunted so flawlessly. I love the spark of the contrasting magenta-pink handbag for a girlish finish to echo her beauty look.

Chloe Sevigny: There was a distinct throwback vibe in this jumpsuit ensemble, too, that played with volume in the pouf sleeves and pants. I do think the cross-body bag was a bit of a distracting interference.

Miriam Leone: The more interesting element of this ensemble was the back, with the Bob Mackie reference and embellished gown’s deconstructed bow. Yet, the fit and execution still left something to be desired.

Front Row @ Burberry Fall 2018

None were eager to miss the Burberry Fall 2018 show on Saturday (February 17) as part of London Fashion Week, judging by a front row that was overflowing with fans of the iconic British label.

Sienna Miller:
If you thought you knew Burberry plaid, you might be challenged to think again given the actress’s fearless combo of the checquered patterns that maintained her free-spirited, boho style.

Keira Knightley: I will have to admit to not recognizing Keira at first. This play on proportions, between the boxy jacket and the frilly skirt, left a lot to be desired when it came to its figure-flattering qualities.

Zendaya Coleman:
Even when covered up in an oversized check coat, somehow Z still commands this look—and leaves me wanting to see the brashly bold, graphic ensemble beneath it all the more.

Front Row @ Calvin Klein Fall 2018

There was to be no shortage of stars on the front row at the Calvin Klein Fall 2018 show, held on Tuesday (February 13), where the looks were just as diverse as the ladies themselves.

Nicole Kidman: I will always struggle with how satiny fabrics photograph, but seeing this Calvin Klein Spring 2018 look translated off the runway on Nicole, and I think she did it justice—even in spite of its cowgirl shirt-meets-retro diner uniform mood.

Lupita Nyong’o: Not only was the periwinkle hue of the blouse a radiant offering, the drama of the pouf sleeves added a layer of girly romance–to which the black skirt merely acted as the canvas to celebrate it.

Margot Robbie: I love how the ‘I, Tonya’ actress took this Calvin Klein Fall 2017 jacket and stripped away the rest of the elements to make a dress. It had an insouciant chicness about it; a vibe that was only furthered by her mismatched sandals, giant hoop earrings, and slicked-back bun.

Front Row @ Tory Burch Fall 2018

The front row at Tory Burch’s Fall 2018 presentation was a lovely collection of stars who showed up in support of the designer during New York Fashion Week on Friday (February 9).

Julianne Moore: As the actress favours black, this Tory Burch Pre-Fall 2018 ensemble offered a quirky remix of the hue with the colour-block pants. I love the warm tones with her auburn hair, but the dragging hem of the pants does give me pause.

Zoey Deutch: As if she was coming from another era, Zoey celebrated the best of vintage-inspired modernity with this belted trench coat. I love the inherent ladylikeness of the ensemble that balanced a delicate sense of charm with strong sophistication. The oxblood bag and shoes were likewise a compelling way to add depth and drama to the look.

Sienna Miller: With a colour palette that reflected Julianne’s pants, Sienna’s Tory Burch Pre-Fall 2018 dress was topped with a cozy, furry coat. It certainly played into her boho sensibility, especially given the slightly unkempt styling with her fringe bag and slides. I cannot fault the coat, as I’d be wearing one, too, to stay warm in NYC’s brisk temps. But I did want to see more of the dress underneath.

Front Row @ Ralph Lauren Fall 2018

There wasn’t a dress in sight with these lovely ladies in the front row at the Ralph Lauren Fall 2018 show during New York Fashion Week on Monday (February 12)—but their looks still couldn’t have been more alluring.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Combining the seductive elements of a leather, corseted bodice with more straightlaced black trousers offered an intriguing juxtaposition of sultry tailoring—to which both the playful chain accessory and Rosie’s sleek styling played directly into the aesthetic.

Rachel Brosnahan: Matchy-matchy came off so beautifully here, with suiting inspired by menswear—but with a distinctly feminine vibe in the strapless bodice and the magnetic charisma of the jacket flung atop the shoulders.
