Margot Robbie In Ellery – Stakes Day

Margot Robbie In Ellery - Stakes Day

Following her attendance at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards in London last week, Margot Robbie returned home for the Swisse Marquee on Stakes Day held at Flemington Racecourse on Saturday (November 8) in Melbourne, Australia.

Opting for hints of yellow again, the actress wore an Ellery Resort 2015 top and fitted skirt for a very feminine silhouette, styled with a distinctive M2Malletier gold top-handle clutch and Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals.

I can’t help but be entranced by this summery offering, but I can’t get on board with the headpiece.

While it is a fun alternative to the more traditional wide-brim hats we are more accustomed to at these Ladies Day race events, it’s totally out of tune with everything north of her shoulders.

Nicole Kidman In Prada – Celebrate Life Ball

Nicole Kidman In Prada - Celebrate Life Ball

Nicole Kidman attended the Celebrate Life Ball at held Grand Hyatt Melbourne on Friday (June 13) in Melbourne, Australia.

The actress looked radiant wearing a Prada blush-coloured gown with silver embellishments which she styled with silver jewels and at times a black mask.

When should Miuccia have stopped when applying the bling?

I would say at the neckline and shoulders. They were two steps too far for me.

What say you?

Cate Blanchett In Chanel – ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2′ Sydney Premiere

Cate Blanchett In Chanel - 'How To Train Your Dragon 2' Sydney Premiere

Following the LA premiere for ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2′ with American Ferrera on Sunday evening, Cate Blanchett took up the Australian leg of the tour earlier today (June 9), attending the Sydney premiere held at Event Cinemas George Street.

The Australian actress kept up the colourful embellished bodice trend she started at the Cannes Film Festival premiere, this time donning a Chanel Resort 2015 flared-sleeve black frock.

Her dress, which also features buttoned detailing going down both sides of the skirt, was styled with simple black pumps and little else in the way of jewels or a clutch.

She just let the dress and that heart-warming smile do all the work.

We weren’t too enamoured with her previous Givenchy gown, so how does this look fare?

Miranda Kerr In Victoria Beckham – Royal Albert Teaware Promotion

Miranda Kerr In Victoria Beckham - Royal Albert Teaware Promotion

Miranda Kerr is currently in Sydney, Australia promoting her Royal Albert teaware range.

Royal Albert Teaware Luncheon: Her first look on Thursday (May 15) was a classic Victoria Beckham sheath dress, exuding feminine confidence with a cheery vibe thanks to the colourful print on the bodice (which we’ve seen on Suki Waterhouse). Perfectly contoured with meticulous tailoring, this piece was styled with nude pumps and Stella McCartney sunglasses.

Royal Albert Teaware Pop-Up Store: Earlier today (May 16), the model wore Victoria Beckham again, donning a magenta-hued fitted dress with a cropped overlay giving the look a waist-narrowing effect. Styled once again with nude pumps, the model added a selection of subtle gold jewels to her look. You may remember that Colleen Rooney wore this same dress last month. That should make an interesting Who Wore It Better? post.

Logie Awards 2014

2014 Logie Awards - Arrivals

There were plenty more local celebs aside from Kylie and Dannii Minogue who attended the 2014 Logie Awards held at Crown Palladium on Sunday (April 27) in Melbourne, Australia.

Kate Ritchie: The former child actress is now with child, showcasing her baby bump on the red carpet wearing a deep-plum off-the-shoulder gown by her favourite designer: Steven Khalil. Featuring a thigh-high slit and dramatic train, the actress styled her maternity red carpet look with a gold clutch and maroon pumps.

Logie Awards 2

Jennifer Hawkins: Working a sexier look, the starlet wore a white Toni Maticevski two-piece featuring an off-the-shoulder crop top and a high-waist maxi skirt which was cut, twisted and embellished, creating a directional look. Beach waves and a gold cuff completed her look.

Asher Keddie: Usually my favourite at this event, I’m not sure Asher is pulling off this edgier piece by J’Aton Couture. The leather and sheer dress embroidered with a beautiful pattern isn’t the issue; it’s more the lacklustre hair and makeup. Such a bold look deserved more effort.
