Erin Holland In Pallas Couture – Dally M Awards

The Dally M Awards are the official annual player awards for the National Rugby League competition, which took place at The Star in Sydney, Australia this evening (September 27) .

While this is about the fellas, it was the ladies who took centre stage; Erin Holland most predominately.

The singer was the first to arrive and set the bar high in an embellished, all-white Pallas Couture custom gown featuring a plunging neckline, open back and split sleeves.

This is one of those moments where I can’t decide whether I love the dress, or the way Erin is selling the look to me.

I’m going to go with I love the way she’s selling it to me, but would’ve loved the gown more without the central slit.

I love the picture below. It’s like she’s saying, “it’s my world and you’re just living it in.”

Jesinta Franklin In Christopher Esber – The House of Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture Media Preview

Model and David Jones ambassador Jesinta Franklin, posed among the many dresses on display during a media preview of ‘The House of Dior: Seventy Years of Haute Couture’ exhibition earlier today (August 25) in Melbourne, Australia.

Opting for a trans-seasonal look, she was radiating contemporary glamour in her maroon off-the-shoulder, slit sleeve top and high-waisted skirt combo from Christopher Esber’s Fall 2017 collection.

I wouldn’t ordinarily have put maroon and white together, but the double row of artisanal resin buttons help tie the look together effortlessly bringing about a charming aura.

The exhibition is open to the public from August 27 to November 7, 2017, featuring a sumptuous display of more than 140 breathtaking, handcrafted haute couture garments including Miranda Kerr’s custom-made Christian Dior Haute Couture wedding dress.

Nicole Kidman In Zuhair Murad Couture – ‘Top of the Lake: China Girl’ Sydney Premiere

Nicole Kidman was back on the red carpet for the ‘Top of the Lake: China Girl’ premiere held at Sydney Opera House today (August 1) in Australia.

Channelling her inner ballerina, the actress wore a dainty dress from Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2017 Couture collection, which sees her stick to a neutral hue.

I know reader Meme will be disappointed to see yet another frou frou dress from Nicole, and some might think she raided Elle Fanning’s closet while they were promoting ‘The Beguiled’, but I absolutely adore how precious this look is, even though I wish she’d opted for a different belt; considering her gold Jimmy Choo sandals.

Both her hair and makeup up are exquisite here.

You’ll get no complaints from me.

2017 Logie Awards

The 59th annual Logie Awards, celebrating Australian television, were held on Sunday (April 23) in Melbourne, Australia, with a number of stars in attendance.

Penny McNamee: Go big or go home was the mantra of this sweeping Alin Le Kal confection. With its floral-embroidered illusion bodice and mountains of tulle, this was a princess moment taken to another level entirely.

Teresa Palmer In J. Mendel – ‘Berlin Syndrome’ Sydney Premiere

Teresa Palmer attended the Sydney premiere of ‘Berlin Syndrome’ on Tuesday (April 18) in Australia.

Considering that Sydney is currently in the midst of autumn, this black J. Mendel Fall 2017 ensemble was well-suited to the season.

With a nod to romantic femininity in the delicate ruffle top, the high-waist tailoring of the wide-leg trousers provided a sleek counterpoint with a length that thankfully just brushed the floor without falling too long.

Given the belt loops, I did find myself missing a belt to further define the waist.

Nicole Kidman In Marchesa – Swisse Wellness ‘Power Your Passion’ Event

Following her promo tour for ‘Big Little Lies’ and awards season, Nicole Kidman was back home for the Swisse Wellness ‘Power Your Passion’ event on Saturday (March 25) in Melbourne, Australia.

I’m applauding the overtly feminine silhouette and sculptural approach to Nicole’s Marchesa off-the shoulder cocktail dress featuring an ostrich feather trimmed bustier.

Worthy of Hollywood royalty, this velvet midi dress is the very essence of classic-meets-modern ladylike style.

Roger Vivier accessories including a ‘Boite de Nuit Jaipur’ clutch and ‘Manhattan Maharani’ sandals rounded out this inch perfect look.

Kylie Minogue In J’Aton Couture – 2015 ARIA Awards

Kylie Minogue attended the 2015 ARIA Awards held at The Star today (November 26) in Sydney, Australia.

Like The Veronicas, the Australian singer also wore J’Aton Couture.

Cut with a dramatic high-low hem, lending modern appeal to the romantic silhouette, Kylie’s stunning gown oozes glamour and high-quality craftsmanship due to the lovingly handcrafted beaded embellishments.

Just an elegant updo and complementary gold Louboutins completed her red carpet look.
