Katy Perry In Zimmermann - 'The Smurfs 2' Cancun Party

Katy Perry attended the ‘Smurf 2′ party held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel during the 5th Annual Summer Of Sony in Cancun, Mexico on Monday evening.

It was her third look of her blue theme day.

I would love to proclaim that it was the best look of the day, but sadly this wasn’t the case.

Katy’s shimmering strapless Zimmerman multi-coloured dress feels a bit limp – especially when compared to the other two – and should’ve been shortened.

The dress fails to excite and when styled with the black Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps, I’m finding it impossible to find anything favourable about the look

She can do better, the photocall and press conference prove that.

Maria Sharapova attended the launch of her Sugarpova Candy Collection in LA last Thursday.

In keeping with the sweet theme of the shindig, the superstar athlete wore a floral Zimmerman blouse and pink Tanya Taylor Spring 2013 skirt, which she paired with black Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and Iwona Ludyga earrings.

How can you not love this look?

The black sleeves and black waistline make the floral details of the blouse and peachy pink colour of the skirt pop.

Plus, the overall shape is uber-feminine and perfect for a party celebrating candy.

Her hair is a bit on the messy side, but it kind of gives a youthful touch to her fun ensemble.

Many of you said Lea Michele’s last red-carpet look gave you a touch of déjà vu, but you won’t be able to say that about her look at Elle Women in Hollywood Celebration, which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, last night.

She opted for a sultry Zimmerman look.

Lea’s black-lace body suit worn under a sheer striped dress is sexy done in a good way, but I’m sure many will not agree.

Had she done ‘the JLo pout’ I would’ve been instantly turned off, but she managed to contain her inner diva on this occasion.

Wavy ombre tresses, black strappy B Brian Atwood ‘Lorrina’ sandals, J/Hadley and Graziela rings with nude lips completed her look.

Sarah Hyland took to the red carpet on Saturday afternoon for the 6th Annual Power of Youth Event at the Paramount Studios in LA.

The young ‘Modern Family’ star, who recently took in New York Fashion Week, looked lovely wearing a Zimmermann dress.

Her colourful floral-print halterneck dress with draped skirt was paired with a stunning pair of electric blue Brian Atwood ‘Lorinna’ sandals which just shot to number one on my wish list.

A matching Kotur clutch, a Melinda Maria ‘Mademoiselle’ pod ring, soft makeup and a teased updo completed her look.

Here are the rest of the looks from InStyle’s Summer Soiree, which took place at The London Hotel in West Hollywood last night.

Emilie De Ravin: The Australian actress wore a pretty blue lace dress by the Australian brand Zimmermann. Whilst her dress was full of the joys of summer, her navy-blue t-bar sandals feel a bit heavy and fall-like. I’m also not sure I’m used to her as a brunette; I think I prefer her as a blonde.

Nikki Reed: Each time the ‘Twilight’ actress gives me a look I love, she then puts things in reverse. Her black Jill Stuart dress with floral detailing and Alexandra Birman pumps and burgundy Lauren Merkin ‘Grace’ clutch scream ‘Hello Fall’. Great look, wrong season.

Jordana Brewster: The ‘Dallas’ star was the epitome of summer chic wearing a Bec & Bridge white silk ‘Claudia’ dress with laser-cut trim. A grey clutch, taupe Jimmy Choo ‘Trina’ sandals plus Melinda Maria jewels completed the look. Read more…
