Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Victoria Beckham attended the Bergdorf Goodman Celebrates Fashion’s Night Out shebang in New York City last night.

Victoria chose one of her own designs – a body contouring, tangerine dress from her eponymous label – for the event.

For fear of stating the obvious, this look is not a departure for Victoria. The British expat is a fan of orange dresses and knows what suits her – and sticks to it. She’s also aware that she’s the best advertisement for her brand.

A messy braid, Proenza Schouler colour-block toe-cap pumps and a delicately smokey eye completed her look.

Mar Saura was your best dressed this week, looking breathtaking wearing an Oscar de la Renta gown.

The nude embellished and feather-accented gown styled with complementary accessories was a worthy winner indeed.

I went for Serena Williams, despite hating her shoes.

Like many of you said, this is the best she has ever looked and a true testament that Victoria Beckham’s dresses are indeed designed for every type of woman.

Serena Williams looked stunning as she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City yesterday for her guest appearance on ‘Late Show With David Letterman’.

The Wimbledon and Olympic tennis champion wore a Victoria Beckham dress for the occasion.

Her fitted dress with a V-neckline was accented with a grosgrain black waistband. It exudes elegance, so I’m really disappointed, once again, that she opted for such awful footwear.

These black embellished Christian Louboutin Decorapump (similar to the ‘Daffodile’ pumps) are so out of tune with the rest of her look.

Simple black ‘Pigalle’ pumps, though predictable, would’ve been much preferred.

Gorgeous voluminous curly hair and flawless makeup provided the finishing touches.

Yay or nay on Serena’s ‘Daffodiles’?

Kelly Rowland is currently in Australia working as a mentor on Australia’s dance show, ‘Everybody Dance Now’.

The singer took to the red carpet on Tuesday evening in Sydney for the David Jones Spring/Summer 2012/13 Season Launch event.

She wore a signature Victoria Beckham fitted dress from the Spring 2012 in navy blue with black panels.

Adding an edge to her sophisticated dress, Kelly donned Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ spike leather pumps and hot red lips.

Her look was completed with a beautiful, volumious curly do.

You may remember that Allison Williams wore this same dress before back in April.

This morning Victoria Beckham shared via Twitter that she was going to be making an appearance in Browns Thomas in Dublin to meet and greet fashion-savvy Dubliners, introducing them to her Fall 2012 collection with a runway show.

The weather is lousy this side of the pond, so I would’ve expected her to don her favourite Tom Ford open-toe boots, but she selected patent pumps with a gold heel instead.

After wearing a bold orange colour last week, it was back to black for VB.

She wore a wool coat from her Fall 2012 collection with a silver accent. This look is screaming out for a belt.

VB has a knack of making outwear look like a chic dress, and she’s showcased this talent on several occasions, but without the belt, this look is quite shapeless.

Her hair and makeup on the other hand are flawless.

I am currently watching the Wimbledon men’s singles final between Roger Federer of Switzerland and Andy Murray of Great Britain, and I was delighted to see Victoria Beckham in the crowd alongside handsome hubby David Beckham.

What’s the link between Victoria Beckham and tennis?

The Beckhams and Andy Murray share the same management, but I’m sure David would’ve wanted to watch this historic Wimbledon final live regardless.

The Queen of fashion was rightly seated in the royal box wearing a striped dress from her Fall 2012 collection.

Doing her best to blend into the venue, she selected a forest-green and black striped dress which she wore with oversized shades.

Even though VB is seated, we can see her black leather over-the-knee boots.

I’m guessing they are those Tom Ford peep-toe boots which she seems to love so much.
