Jane Krakowski In Roland Mouret – Entertainment Weekly’s SAG Awards Nominees Party

Jane Krakowski In Roland Mouret - Entertainment Weekly's SAG Awards Nominees Party

Jane Krakowski attended Entertainment Weekly’s celebration honoring the 2014 SAG Awards nominees, held at the Chateau Marmont on Friday (January 17) in Los Angeles, California.

You may know I have somewhat of a crush on Jane’s style.

Here we have not only my favourite colour: electric-blue; but also one of my favourite designers: Roland Mouret; wrapped up in this sexy one-shoulder frock inherent with Roland Mouret’s expert tailoring for a figure-flattering look.

A black Jimmy Choo ‘Charlize’ clutch and gold Manolo Blahnik sandals accessorized her look with sleek straight locks, smouldering eye makeup and nude lips providing the finishing touches.

My style crush continues.

Amy Adams In Roland Mouret - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Amy Adams, nominated in the ‘Best Actress in a Comedy’ category for ‘American Hustle,’ took to the red carpet at the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica.

Following up her stunning Valentino Couture gown at the Golden Globes, Amy looked breathtaking wearing a Roland Mouret ‘Tinea’ gown.

The sublime streamlined gown features a draped neckline for intoxicating sensuality, and black grosgrain ribbon accented her waist and shoulders.

Delicate Neil Lane jewelry accessorized her look with glossy lips rounding out her look.

Like Cate and Lupita, Amy is most definitely one-to-watch this awards season.

Black Brian Atwood ‘Tribeca’ platform ankle-strap sandals, a low ponytail and barely-there makeup completed her look.

Chic or boring?

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Roland Mouret – ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ Royal Premiere

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Roland Mouret - 'Mandela Long Walk To Freedom' Royal Premiere

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (Queen of Repeats) attended the royal premiere for ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ this evening in London’s Leicester Square.

She wore a Roland Mouret Fall 2009 long-sleeved ivory gown featuring a demure side slit which was a repeat.

You may remember that she wore this dress to the Thirty Club dinner back in May last year.

This time she styled the look with a statement necklace and black accessories.

I wanted to rejoice this repeat because of the rare sighting of the ponytail and Zara necklace (even though it doesn’t quite work with the dress for me), but when scrolling down she lost me at the black Mulberry clutch.

Both the clutch and shoes are way too heavy for this look.

Her styling of this look was far superior the first time around.

Now I understand why her last repeat was exactly the same from head to toe.

Sandra Bullock In Roland Mouret – ‘Gravity’ Tokyo Press Conference

Sandra Bullock In Roland Mouret - 'Gravity' Tokyo Press Conference

I was speaking of amazing promo tours yesterday and Sandra Bullock for ‘Gravity’ has also been very impressive.

That run continued yesterday afternoon when she attended a press conference for the movie held at the Grand Hyatt in Tokyo, Japan wearing a Roland Mouret ‘Breccia’ dress.

This red cap-sleeved dress makes quite an alluring impact with its figure-flattering silhouette, square neckline and signature asymmetrical precise folds and pleats.

With the elegantly sculpted dress taking centre stage, she styled the look with black pumps and a gold bracelet.

You may remember that Jodie Foster also wore this dress in a more muted jade-green hue.

Citymeals-on-Wheels 27th Annual ‘Power Lunch for Women’

Citymeals-on-Wheels 27th Annual Power Lunch for Women

On Friday, Citymeals-On-Wheels hosted its 27th annual Power Lunch for Women at The Plaza Hotel in New York City — and as is to be expected, the stars in attendance dressed the part of “ladies who lunch.”

Padma Lakshmi: The ‘Top Chef’ host chose a nude-coloured Roland Mouret sheath with a simple black bow-tie sash at the waist. While cut at the knee, her cap-sleeved number showed off ample cleavage via a low boxed-out neckline — it’s certainly a sexier daytime silhouette, but one that she pulled off without a hitch. A gold pendant necklace and embellished pumps completed the look.

Brooke Shields: Just two days after Victoria Beckham wore her own tri-colour Fall 2013 dress, Brooke Shields stepped out in the same exact frock across the pond, styling it with black pumps, a textured black clutch, and gold cuff. While I love the bright pattern, this dress wasn’t the most flattering choice.

Debra Messing: The actress stepped out in a long-sleeved black dress with silver-band details at the waist and bodice. Her futuristic fashion statement — or attempt at one — was accessorized with large earrings, black clutch, black heels, and a silver smokey eye.

Knee-length hems aside, these looks ran the gamut. Have a favourite, or is this power lunch a fashion miss?

Zoe Saldana In Roland Mouret – 2013 American Music Awards

2013AMA_ZoeSaldana

Zoe Saldana attended the 2013 American Music Awards, held on Sunday at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The actress showed us a one-shoulder gown from the Roland Mouret Spring 2014 collection, debuting an asymmetrical, patchwork-print gown that was cut through with a boldly unexpected swath of sky-blue satin fabric on the side.

It was a mirror image that took to the runway, and Zoe carried off the complex look with a sense of effortless ease that many could hardly handle.

She completed her entrance with black Jimmy Choo ‘Desire’ ankle-strap sandals, along with sleek long locks and a deep smokey eye.
