Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Carrie Underwood reprised her role as co-host of the 46th Annual CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, last night.

Her first job as host was to look beautiful on the red carpet.

That was easy in this gorgeous Reem Acra Spring 2013 gown.

Her ivory chiffon gown with gold floral appliqués feels like a more grown-up look for Carrie.

She’s done the princess thing for a while at these events, so this look is very refreshing for me.

The country singer accessorized with a Swarovski gold leather ‘Bel Air’ clutch with a crystal closure and rose-gold jewels.

A wavy hairstyle pinned to one side, kohl-rimmed eyes and a shimmering nude lip colour completed her look.

The 2012 Top Life Figaro Ceremony took place in Beijing, China, last week. Here is a look at some of the attendees.

Sui He: The gorgeous model wore an Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 fuchsia jacquard dress with banana sleeves and floral embroidery. A black leather McQueen double buckle belt and black ankle boots added a tough edge to her look.

Yeo Chen: The actress wore a Paco Rabanne Fall 2012 mini grey, silver and blue dress with chain metal accents. On this occasion I don’t hate the footwear as she donned a fun pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Teazer’ feathered sandals.

Ni Ni: Your favourite star from the Vogue China event wore a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 dress on this occasion. Her black dress with a sheer bodice and lace collar grabs your attention with that rich gold embroidery on the skirt. Read more…

Anna Wintour wasn’t the only one who didn’t wear Gucci to the LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala honoring Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick on Saturday evening in LA which was hosted by the Italian brand.
Jennifer Morrison opted to wear a Reem Acra Fall 2012 jumpsuit.

This Reem Acra look once again gives a master class on illusion panelling.

No zipper and no unsightly edges. How does she do it?

The only downside are that the pants are way too long.

Jennifer styled her look with a simple, yet chic ponytail (Cameron Diaz take note), gold earrings and a black clutch.

Krysten Ritter’s fashionable week isn’t quite over, as she was spotted outside the Ed Sullivan Theater last night for a guest appearance on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’.

She clearly listened to your pleas for more rich winter colours, as she donned this gorgeous emerald-green Reem Acra Pre-Fall 2012 dress with floral applique cap-sleeves and a knotted detail at the waist.

To add some spice to her look, she opted for Jimmy Choo leopard-print ‘Award’ pumps with a black toe-cap.

Signature red lip and stunning jewels including a large cocktail ring completed her third Reem Acra look of the week.

Krysten Ritter is having a busy week and I am having trouble keeping up with her many looks.

On Tuesday she was spotted filming ‘Dont Trust That B**** in Apt 23′ filming on the streets of Manhattan wearing an Alice + Olivia dress with a beaded nude top and black flared skirt. I love the red touches to this look. This dress didn’t go down so well with many of you when Rumer Willis wore it recently.

For ‘Live with Kelly and Michael’ she opted for a Collette Dinnigan Resort 2013 beaded lace and mesh dress which she styled with black Jimmy Choo ‘Tarika’ pumps. This is one of Krysten’s more sombre looks, so thankfully she opted for her signature red lip colour.

She was spotted on her way to a ‘Anderson Live’ yesterday wearing one of my favourite looks from her this week. Her black Reem Acra dress with sheer black-and-gold polka dot panels was perfectly complemented by Jean-Michel Cazabat gold pumps with a black heel. Read more…

Krysten Ritter attended the premiere party for her TV series ‘Don’t Trust The B—- In Apt 23’ held at the Toro Lounge at Plein Sud in New York City last night.

The actress wore a very daring Reem Acra Fall 2012 dress.

Her uber-sexy gown with a silver metallic bodice, cut-out waist and thigh-high slit is risqué whilst leaving a lot to the imagination.

What I love about this look is that I don’t get the sense that Krysten was trying too hard. Imagine Blake Lively (pre-Mrs Reynolds) in this gown.

What I don’t like about this look are her Jimmy Choo ‘Maya’ pumps. To repeat my motto, ‘a sexy gown requires a sexy sandal’.

You may remember that Malin Akerman wore a modified version of this gown to the ‘Rock of Ages’ LA premiere back in June.
