2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Glamour Woman of The Year Awards

There were many more lovely ladies besides Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington who attended the 2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 2) in London, England.

Gemma Chan: The British actress served up visual splendour wearing an Mary Katrantzou’s intricately printed ‘Cassandra’ dress. I’m glad she kept the spirit of this look alive with a moss-green clutch.

Gillian Anderson: There was a distinct lack of drama at this event, so up stepped Gillian Anderson wearing a nude caped gown by Australian couturier Paolo Sebastian. Some might find this a touch dated, but I’m too busy diverting my eyes away from the upper mid section.

Louise Redknapp: The British presenter usually finds herself at near the top of the my best dressed list, but that wasn’t to be the case on this occasion. While I loved the gorgeous cobalt-blue hue and her breakaway from the expected, this Proenza Schouler basket weave fringe dress fails to flatter, plus her pumps were really dull. The only plus side was the complementary Bottega Veneta clutch.

Kim Kardashian In Proenza Schouler – 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards

Kim Kardashian In Proenza Schouler - 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards

Kim Kardashian attended the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on Monday (June 1) in New York City, following the announcement that she’s pregnant with her second child.

It would appear that being with-child is not going to bring about a change in style, as the reality star ensured maximum attention wearing a custom eyelet embroidered Proenza Schouler black chiffon dress inspired by the Fall 2015 collection.

I have to say I do like the style and design of the dress, but found myself yawning at the predictability of its sheer nature.

Liya Kebede In Proenza Schouler - 'Mad Max Fury Road' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Liya Kebede attended the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ premiere during the 2015 Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 14) in Cannes, France.

As good as Liya always looks in Louis Vuitton, there was a huge sigh of relief that she put her love for all things Nicolas Ghesquière on pause for one night.

She turned to her second favourite designer, Proenza Schouler, selecting a deconstructed ensemble from the Fall 2015 collection.

With that copper textural sequin-embroidery asymmetrical top she was guaranteed to effortlessly stun anew at every turn, especially since she has such an enviable figure.

Styled with PS1 sandals and a Proenza Schouler silver minaudière, she pulled the look off with ease.

Beyonce Knowles In Proenza Schouler – 2015 Grammy Awards

Beyonce In Proenza Schouler - 2015 Grammy Awards

Beyonce Knowles glided onto the red carpet of the 2015 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 8) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

One of the evening’s presenters, she wore a Proenza Schouler semi-sheer, curve-enhancing plunge gown that was very much a signature Bey look.

From a distance, this registered as a straightforward, all-black dress. But up close, the level of detail of the tulle design with its black silk thread work, beading, and embroidery was beautiful, even if it seems as if we’ve seen this look on the singer before.

Lorraine Schwartz emerald chandelier earrings were all but hidden behind her super-long, centre-parted waves.

You weren’t altogether sold on her Roc Nation Pre-Grammys Brunch entrance. How does this one fare—too formulaic or fierce?

2015 SAG Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of some of the other attendees of the 2015 SAG Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 25) in Los Angeles, California.

Caitriona Balfe: The ‘Outlander’ actress certainly caught my attention in her saffron-hued Solace London strapless gown styled with red Gianvito Rossi sandals, a blood-orange Rodo clutch, Vhernier earrings and a Neil Lane ring. This is one of my favourites of the night.

Danielle Brooks: The ‘Orange is the New Black’ actress stunned wearing a navy Christian Siriano gown. The body-enhancing gown with the delicate tulle overlay on the bodice and the sweeping train is easily one of her best looks to date. She looked radiant.

Rosamund Pike In Proenza Schouler – Variety’s Creative Impact Awards And 10 Directors To Watch Brunch

Rosamund Pike In Proenza Schouler - Variety's Creative Impact Awards And 10 Directors To Watch Brunch

Rosamund Pike made her second appearance on the red carpet this weekend for the Variety Creative Impact Awards and ’10 Directors To Watch’ brunch held at Parker Palm Springs on Sunday (January 4) in Palm Springs, California.

The ‘Gone Girl’ actress wore the same Brian Atwood ‘Melly’ sandals while presenting a different silhouette, wearing a Proenza Schouler black knit crewneck top and black and white hand-printed pleated skirt from the Pre-Fall 2015 collection.

While I love her contrasting fabrics and the modernized silhouette, I would’ve loved to see her in a touch of colour for this daytime event.
