Sonam Kapoor In Prabal Gurung – Tata Medical Center Fundraiser

Sonam Kapoor In Prabal Gurung - Tata Medical Center Fundraiser

Sonam Kapoor attended the Tata Medical Center fundraiser in Mumbai on Saturday evening.

Opting for a sleek look, she wore a Prabal Gurung Resort 2014 black-and-white ensemble featuring a tuxedo jacket in a wrap-style silhouette with a notched lapel, styled with wide-leg tuxedo pants with contrast stripes and waistband.

As you know I rarely love Sonam’s shoe choice, so I’m not surprised to be disappointed by her choice once again on this occasion.

With the pants being so long, the heavy shoes just weigh down the look.

I do love everything north of her ankles, with a chic updo, red pout and black clutch providing the finishing touches.

Kerry Washington In Prabal Gurung – Late Show With David Letterman

Kerry Washington In Prabal Gurung - Late Show With David Letterman

Kerry Washington swung by the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City for an appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ to promote the season premiere of her hit show, ‘Scandal.’

The actress wore a floaty Prabal Gurung Resort 2014 frock, which featured a black-and-white floral print. The sheer black billowy sleeves were offset by a halter cutaway detail at the bodice and a cinched-in black waistband.

She kept her accessories straightforward with a black envelope clutch and pointy-toe pumps, topping the look off with soft curls and a cherry lip.

You may remember Kerry wore another Prabal Gurung look earlier this year for a prior ‘Letterman’ engagement.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Diane Kruger In Prabal Gurung, Ed Westwick In Zegna & Douglas Booth In Tom Ford

Diane Kruger was our winner for best-dressed of the week. I believe this Prabal Gurung dress has made its way onto many of your BDOTY lists, such was the beauty of this overall look.

When it came to the fellas you went for Ed Westwick’s merlot Zegna suit, while I loved Douglas Booth in his Tom Ford suit – mostly for the styling, which included a plaid shirt, polka-dot tie and dotted pocket square.

Prabal Gurung’s Fashion Week

Prabal Gurung's Fashion Week 1

The celeb set has a crush: Just call him Prabal Gurung. Within the last week, the designer’s bold, breathtaking confections have made more than a few red-carpet moments on the backs of beauties who have been none too shy to show off their penchant for Prabal. No wonder he is the current go-to for glam looks—laced with a touch of fashionable gumption.

Sarah Jessica Parker: The stylista, who is already a huge fan of the brand, started the weeklong trend with a sublime, barely-pink bustier for her entrance at the New York City Ballet’s fall gala. Inspired by Prabal Gurung’s Spring 2014 collection, the romantic bodice was simultaneously sharp and soft, stealing the show despite the Olivier Theyskens floaty ball-gown skirt.

Cate Blanchett: The ‘Beauty in Wonderland’ exhibit in Italy, which Cate recently attended, was only matched by her whimsical, feathered frock from the Resort 2014 collection. The intrepid trio of crimson, black and white hues proved a strong counterpoint to that flurry of fun feathers.

Prabal Gurung's Fashion Week 2

Diane Kruger: Also in keeping with the red, black and white palette, the actress stunned at The Metropolitan Opera in New York City with her colour-block, high-low gown, also from Resort 2014. It was angular and sleek—and carried off in the utmost of sophistication.

Hailee Steinfeld: Exciting us with a peek at the Spring 2014 collection, the young starlet and Prabal devotee showed her edgy style stripes with an off-the-shoulder, embellished dress at the ‘Romeo & Juliet’ premiere in California. Mature and modish, but oh-so-appropriate at the same time, Hailee did Prabal proud.

Hailee Steinfeld In Prabal Gurung – ‘Romeo & Juliet’ LA Premiere

Hailee Steinfeld In Prabal Gurung - 'Romeo & Juliet' LA Premiere

Hailee Steinfeld attended the premiere of ‘Romeo & Juliet’ held at ArcLight Hollywood in California yesterday evening.

Wearing a look from Prabal Gurung’s Spring 2014 collection that I was dying to see on the red carpet, the young actress looks very grown up in her off-the-shoulder cocktail dress, which features an elegant off-shoulder shawl neckline; Swarovski-crystal, silk-grosgrain and organza embroidered panels throughout; plus graphic black mako stripes.

I did have someone like Nicole Kidman in mind for this dress, believing only someone of her height could pull off such a dramatic piece of this length, but I’m glad Hailee proved that theory wrong.

Hailee opted to wear her hair down, when wearing it up would’ve been preferred, completing her look with soft makeup, a sparking pink Jimmy Choo clutch and Brian Atwood’s ‘Tribeca’ black satin platform sandals.

Diane Kruger In Prabal Gurung - Metropolitan Opera Season Opening Production Of 'Eugene Onegin'

Diane Kruger attended the Metropolitan Opera Season Opening Production Of ‘Eugene Onegin’ at The Metropolitan Opera House in New York City on Monday evening.

Rendered in an ultra-luxe Taroni double-face satin, her Prabal Gurung Resort 2014 dress is a beauty to behold.

Featuring a contrast bodice with a straight neckline, a banded waist, and a full skirt with on-seam side pockets, her red-white-and-black dress with a rise-and-fall hem is yet another homerun for the talented designer, who has had the pleasure of dressing Cate Blanchett and Sarah Jessica Parker within a week.

How many can boast that?

With no end in sight of the white pumps trend, the German actress styled her look with Casadei toe-cap pumps, with a gold bracelet and onyx earrings accessorizing her look.

A side-parted sleek bun completed her look.

Perfect from head to toe? Would you agree?
