Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kate Winslet was our winner for best dress this week – no surprises.

The British actress was breath-taking on the red carpet for the Titanic 3D World premiere.

Some weren’t that impressed with Kate’s Jenny Packham gown, which was surprising.

Whilst I did like love the gown, I will agree that the dress was only doing 10% of the work.

Kate’s regal presence made up the 90%.

I think my heart just stopped.

Kate Winslet looked sensational as she took to the red carpet on a warm sunny evening in London for the ‘Titanic 3D’ world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall.

Looking as regal as ever, the actress glided down the red carpet wearing a Jenny Packham gown.

Her bespoke Jenny Packham black silk-crepe gown with Swarovski crystal cap sleeves and a waist detail was inspired by the British designer’s Fall 2012 Film Noir collection.

Yes, it’s another black gown from Kate, but she pulls out all the stops to make this an epic look which we will no doubt be adding to our BDOTY lists.

A chic wavy updo, silver jewels and a dark pink lip colour completed her look.

When she’s good, she’s damn good.

Miley Cyrus was joined by mother Tish and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XVII on Saturday in Phoenix, Arizona.

The actress selected a Jenny Packham Spring 2012 dress.

Her coral rise-and-fall gown with pretty lace detailing was teamed with nude Christian Louboutin peep-toes and gold jewels.

Whilst I like her lingerie-inspired dress, despite the colour being very close to her skin-tone, I would’ve preferred sleek locks to her wavy curls on this occasion.

Her hair feels overly fussy.

January Jones was at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California yesterday evening during PaleyFest 2012 where they honoured ‘Mad Men’.

The actress wore a Jenny Packham Fall 2012 sky-blue long-sleeved shift dress with silver stud embellishments.

I don’t know what possessed her to wear thick black tights and black suede pumps with her summery dress, but she totally killed the look.

I’m further confused by the pink streaks in her blonde hair.

How very Lauren Conrad of her.

Dita Von Teese took in last evening’s Oscars at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party in West Hollywood.

The burlesque beauty stunned in Jenny Packham Fall 2012 gown.

Dita sat front row at the designer’s New York show just a couple of weeks ago, so she would’ve ordered this beauty straight after the show.

The soft pink chiffon beaded cap sleeve gown with a keyhole bodice is a soft look for Dita.

This colour is gorgeous against her pale skin and raven hair.

Bulgari jewels, Louboutin heels and a Swarovski clutch completed her look.

OK, let’s just marvel at how amazing Kate Winslet looked tonight at the 37th Cesar Film Awards, held at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, France.

The British actress stunned wearing a Jenny Packham gown.

She can be frustrating inconsistent at times, but this black-and-gold sequined gown with a deep plunging neckline makes me forget about those simple black dresses she tends to favour.

A sparkling gown deserves some sparkling jewels, so she opted for Cartier jewels which included Trinity de Cartier yellow gold hoop earrings and a Santos de Cartier yellow gold and diamond bracelet.

A gold Anya Hindmarch clutch and a wavy updo completed her look.

I love her when she’s on form.

Most definitely a BDOTW contender.
