2017 Oscar Parties Roundup

The 2017 Oscars party circuit was in full tilt with so many other style darlings in attendance at both the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party and Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday (February 26). Here, a roundup of additional looks from the star-studded evening.

Emily Ratajkowski: Glitz and glam feathers both played a sultry game in this Jonathan Simkhai Fall 2017 plunge gown.

Priyanka Chopra: Speaking of glitter, Priyanka’s black Michael Kors Collection gown would have just been a standard black dress had it not been for the blitz of sequins.

Sia: I had to do a double-take with the singer’s custom Giorgio Armani cantaloupe-hued suit, as the nude-coloured lining provided a strange effect that made her hat-topped head almost appear to be floating.

Jess Weixler In Giorgio Armani – 19th Costume Designers Guild Awards

The 19th CDGA (Costume Designers Guild Awards) took place on Tuesday (February 21) in Beverly Hills, California, with Jess Weixler following Jane Fonda’s lead in wearing a dramatic black gown.

Delivering a breath-taking evening silhouette, what I particularly love about this Armani Fall 2013 gown is its timeless quality.

This gorgeous gown will look just as good in 10 years time.

What I didn’t like about this look was the clutch. It has ‘after-thought’ written all over it.

A green clutch courtesy of Edie Parker or Lee Savage to enhance those emerald jewels would’ve been a preferred option.

Olga Kurylenko In Giorgio Armani – 2017 Sidaction Gala Dinner

The Sidaction Gala Dinner marked the close of Paris Fashion Week on Thursday (January 26).

Olga Kurylenko’s front row style has been hit and miss, so I’m sure I’ll surprise a lot of you by saying I think this Giorgio Armani jumpsuit is a hit.

For me it’s well-tailored, bold, cool and sexy. Anything more than A cup and my opinion of this look would’ve undoubtedly changed.

The only thing I really object to are the heavy shoes.

Cate Blanchett In Giorgio Armani – 2015 AACTA Awards

Cate Blanchett In Giorgio Armani - 2015 AACTA Awards

Cate Blanchett attended the 5th AACTA Awards today (December 9) in Sydney, Australia, where she was the recipient of the AACTA Longford Lyell Award.

You won’t be surprised to learn that when I see a black dress on the red carpet, I get very trigger happy with the ‘next’ button, but this Giorgio Armani gown stopped me in my tracks.

Cut to a very simple silhouette, the enchantingly alluring plunging back adds a sartorial twist of which I admire, along with those stunning ball drop earrings.

Simple elegance at it upmost best. Welcome back Queen Cate.
