Alexandra Daddario In Diane von Furstenberg – ‘San Andreas’ LA Premiere

Alexandra Daddario In Diane von Furstenberg - 'San Andreas' LA Premiere

Alexandra Daddario attended the premiere of ‘San Andreas,’ held on Tuesday (May 26) at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.

A hot flash on the red carpet, she sizzled in a Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2015 gown styled with metallic sandals, Sethi Couture earrings, and rings by Pasquale Bruni and Le Vian.

Red lace, not to mention a slit-to-there silhouette, is a surefire way to fire up the va-va-voom factor, and Alexandra did just that while still bringing a sense of old Hollywood glam in her classic updo and crimson red lip.

While she wears this dramatic look well, part of me does miss the more lighthearted romantic side to her style here.

Models @ The 2015 Met Gala

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

The models also had their moment at the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4), some strutting to the beat of the theme better than others.

Karen Elson: One of the most extravagantly attired models, Karen truly embraced the ‘costume’ in the Costume Institute Benefit Gala in her Dolce & Gabbana ballgown spectacle featuring an ornately embellished and gilded bodice with matching cuffs, and an explosion of red tulle. Her elaborate gold headpiece also gave Sarah Jessica Parker’s own topper a bit of crown competition. This was the Chinese princess moment of the night.

2015 Met Gala Roundup

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

A flurry of even more bold names descended on red carpet of the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4), where their colourful variety of looks only contributed to this year’s fashion extravaganza.

Anna Wintour
: As the gala co-host, the ‘Vogue’ editor-in-chief dressed thematically (for her, anyway) in a Chanel Spring 2015 Couture gown featuring dimensional, all-over poppy embroidery, which had been lengthened from the runway’s original shorter version. She should have maintained her signature cap sleeve, as the flower petal statement shoulders translated as a bit cumbersome, despite their inherent artistry.

Bee Shaffer: Like her mother, Bee also found inspiration in flowers, opting for a mahogany blossom gown by Alexander McQueen. I much preferred this look to Anna’s, especially with the enchantment of the beautifully embroidered Chinese cranes that alighted down the back of the dress.

Kate Beckinsale In Diane von Furstenberg – 2015 Met Gala

Kate Beckinsale In Diane von Furstenberg - 2015 Met Gala

Kate Beckinsale turned heads on the red carpet of the 2015 Met Gala tonight (May 4) in New York City.

The star wore a gold draped Diane von Furstenberg gown with black strappy Christian Louboutin shoes and Carrera y Carrera jewels.

While I have to say that this dress just barely hits on the night’s theme, it is absolutely made for Kate’s body. The draping is to die for, and the color is really stunning on her.

Also stunning? That hair! Curls upon curls upon perfectly flawless curls are enough to make any women run to the salon to get extensions, and her radiant skin and berry lipstick are excellent paired with the metallic look.

2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Red Carpet Roundup

Vanity Fair Party

Here is an quick roundup from the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which took place on Sunday (February 22).

Jane Fonda: The actress shows us that Zuhair Murad doesn’t always spell tacky. This Spring 2015 Couture jumpsuit is divine and she is working it like no other. Kudos to her. Jimmy Choo ‘Creole’ pumps and a Rauwolf clutch accessorized her look.

Regina King: This Nicolas Jebran gown won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I love the artful colours on this design. I don’t, however, like the illusion neckline. Not close enough to her skin tone.

Leslie Mann: Like Naomi Watts, Leslie went the white suiting route, layering up with a selection of gold Neil Lane jewels the look probably didn’t really require so much of.

Fendi New York Flagship Boutique Inauguration Party

Fendi New York Flagship Boutique Inauguration Party

On Friday (February 13) Fendi celebrated the opening of their New York flagship store during New York Fashion Week.

Rihanna: The singer, who designed a 3Baguette and micro baguette in aid of her Clara Lionel Foundation, wore a bronze leather Fendi archive dress styled with a pink chinchilla coat and Manolo Blahnik sandals. The look would’ve worked better sans coat.

Sarah Jessica Parker: The actress opted to go sans fur wearing a Fendi Spring 2015 look that was a feast for the eyes with its many colours, fabrications and layers. The smoky eye was perhaps too heavy for my liking, but I’m too distracted by her custom 3Baguette bag and stunning sandals.

Hailee Steinfeld: My first thought was that it was refreshing to see the young star in colour, then I realised she does often embrace colour but not always as boldly as this Pre-Fall 2015 look. A part of me feels there is too much going on, but the right side of my brain loves it from head to toe.
