Sarah Jessica Parker In Dolce & Gabbana - Out In New York City

Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted leaving her home in New York City earlier today (February 28).

Usually the actress is seen wearing a black or grey nondescript coat, but on this occasion she celebrated the sun coming out and the snow clearing wearing a navy Dolce & Gabbana floral-print coat cut for a simple ‘60s-inspired shape.
Despite the oversized silhouette, the look has a distinct ladylike feel.

Peeking from under her coat we can see a collared blouse, worn with her can’t-live-without pearls, a black lace skirt and tights.

The look was styled with red ‘Anna’ sandals from her SJP shoe collection and a graffiti shopper bag from Chanel’s Spring 2014 collection.

Mens 27 Feb

Here is a quick menswear roundup.

Adrien Brody: Joining Saoirse Ronan on the red carpet for’The Grand Budapest Hotel’ New York premiere on Wednesday (February 26), Adrien made quite a splash on the red carpet wearing a shiny Dolce & Gabbana three-piece red suit with an open white shirt and black shoes. It’s not often we see men don this colour on the red carpet, but if one man can pull off a shiny red suit, it’s Adrien Brody.

Michael B. Jordan: The actor attended the Vanity Fair and FIAT Celebration of ‘Young Hollywood’ on Tuesday (February 25) wearing a perfectly fitted Dior Homme two-button notch-lapel Prince of Wales check suit, a grey-and-blue windowpane-plaid check shirt and a navy-blue-and-burgundy pinstripe wool tie. All the elements work, blending together to create yet another BDOTW-worthy look.

Jeremy Renner: On Saturday (February 22) Jeremy attended the Costume Designer Guild Awards, where the actor wore an Ermenegildo Zegna Couture classic tuxedo while presenting an award to Amy Adams. There’s nothing quirky about this outfit, and that’s okay. Opting for a classic tux is sometimes the best way to go.

Anna Dello Russo Milan Fashion Week

A front row just wouldn’t be complete without Anna Dello Russo. And over the final days at Milan Fashion Week, she didn’t disappoint our expectations in an array of colourful, tactile, embellished and printed pieces.

Gucci Fall 2014: Wearing the same Saint Laurent Spring 2014 white one-shoulder lip embellished top and black cigarette pants that Hailee Steinfeld wore late last year, Anna channelled the 80s front row at the Gucci fall 2104 show by layering her pants over a pair of kitten heel ankle boots and accessorising with a mini metallic duffle bag. I find the single long glove an odd addition, but then this is Anna Dello Russo, and I much prefer the look styled with patent courts as it was on the runway.

Aquilano Rimondi: Channelling Spring’s global traveller trend, Anna wore an intricately and heavily beaded Emilio Pucci Spring 2014 dress to the Aquilano Rimondi Fall 2014 show. In true Anna Dello Russo style, she teamed one of her signature wide leather waist belts over the dress and added a pop of colour with a turquoise BVLGARI bag. While this is quite colourful and not your average day-look, the dress is actually quite stunning and the shoes are exotically wonderful. I think the belt is unnecessary but overall this is one of her more restrained and carefully thought-out looks.

Dolce & Gabbana: A high-shine red Dolce & Gabbana dress with Roman gold coin belt ensured Anna Dello Russo was one of the stand-out guests on the front row of the aforementioned designer’s Fall 2014 show. With ruche detailing and billowing round shoulders, this was certainly a statement-making dress that only someone with Anna’s long, lean figure could wear but it still isn’t the most flattering on Anna. The colour does however complement her deep tan and I love the fact she went for a mini bag – clearly a new favourite shape for Anna.

Marni Fall 2014: After dipping into the 80s and tribal trends, Anna pulled out all the stops for the Marni Fall 2014 show in a stand-out sports luxe look. Wearing a magnificent embellished bomber and matching pencil skirt from the Marni Spring 2014 collection, Anna teamed with chunky black zip-front ankle boots. I loved this look on the catwalk but styled with a slogan cap just makes it look slightly ridiculous. The turquoise BVLGARI bag also jars with the sportiness of the rest of the look, so altogether this is not a great look from Anna.

Sarah Jessica Parker In Valentino & Dolce & Gabbana - SJP Collection Pop Up Shop OpeningSarah Jessica Parker was the obvious guest of honour at the opening of her SJP Collection Pop Up Shop in New York City on Wednesday (February 26).

Arrival: To make her grand entrance, she staved off the cold with a super-sophisticated Dolce & Gabbana white brocade coat. The actress’s signature trendsetting edge entered the equation with that Jerome Dreyfuss ‘Richard’ funky patchwork bag and her own SJP Collection grass-green sandals.

Inside: While inside the shop, SJP wore a light rose-coloured Valentino pleated dress with sheer black sleeves and lace hem. Only she could get away with the same green sandals that were remixed with this frock. She added another layer of quirk via a Mikimoto ‘Akoya’ strand of pearls, along with Fred Leighton and House of Lavande jewels, including a tassel necklace.

Dianna Agron In Dolce & Gabbana - BVLGARI Presents ‘Decades Of Glamour’

Dianna Agron attended the BVLGARI ‘Decades of Glamour’ Oscar Party at Soho House on Tuesday (February 25) in West Hollywood, California.

Audrey Hepburn in ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ propelled the popularity of the little black dress and here we see the ‘Glee’ actress hinting at the cinematic influence with this Dolce & Gabbana frock.

The simple, classic piece was styled with a beautiful serpent necklace by the host, black Dolce & Gabbana lace pumps and the Dolce & Gabbana bag of the moment: the ‘Agata’.

Dianna swept her hair up, with a shimmering pink lip colour completing her look.

Chic or aging?

I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the necklace.

Heidi Klum In Dolce & Gabbana - 'America's Got Talent' Season 9 Photo Call

Heidi Klum attended the ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 9 photocall held at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center on Thursday (February 20) in Newark, New Jersey.

The model wore a Dolce & Gabbana trompe l’oeil lace-print pencil dress designed in a timeless monochrome palette featuring a black waistband which cinched in her waist.

Black pumps and a gold pendant necklace completed her look.

I can’t say I like anything about this look. It screams tired. The dress; the styling – everything about this is lacklustre and below par.
