Celine Dion’s street style takes a risqué route in Alexander McQueen

My strong belief is that Celine Dion can do no wrong, and the feeling was not about to change as she left the Ritz Place Vendome in Paris yesterday afternoon (August 1).

Her latest jaw-dropping street style look comes courtesy of Alexander McQueen.

This stunning lingerie-inspired Spring 2017 gown with a risqué corset bodice and floral embroidered tulle might be a step too far for some, but my feeling is she’s just getting started.

Is this her best look to date?

Perhaps not, but I’m far too busy enjoying the pageantry of it all to delve too deep into that.

A pair of cat eye sunglasses and caged heels finished off the look.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attends The Passchendaele Commemorations in Alexander McQueen

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge returned to her classically elegant sartorial march to attend a ceremony marking the centenary of the battle of Passchendaele in Ypres, Belgium on Sunday (July 30).

If this creamy white Alexander McQueen coatdress looks familiar, that’s because it’s the same look she wore two years ago.

However, here she commemorated the occasion with the red poppy pin and pearl accents. She also wore a different hat, this one from Locke, and a taupe pair of stilettos, all of which worked in concert to add a slightly different, respectful polish to the look.

We can always be sure that Catherine will carry the height of sophistication while being assuredly appropriate, and that’s exactly what she delivered here.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen & Jenny Packham – Germany Royal Visit Day 2

Continuing her royal tour of Germany on Thursday (July 20), Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended The Queen’s Birthday Party before visiting the German Cancer Research Institute.

The Queen’s Birthday Party
: Whilst in Berlin, she was party-ready in an Alexander McQueen off-the-shoulder dress styled with Simone Rocha earrings. The colour was vibrant on her, but I also loved this new casual, flowing silhouette on her; it invoked charming charisma and a bohemian spirit. Plus, those Prada wave, scalloped sandals were a far better choice with this frock than her favoured pumps of old.

German Cancer Research Institute
: Speaking of vibrant, so too was this sunny, yellow Jenny Packham design; its ladylike silhouette very much in keeping with Catherine’s go-to style. She accessorised with Oscar de la Renta earrings, an Alexander McQueen suede clutch, and Monsoon nude wedges, as an equally bright yellow sandal may have been too much to expect.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen & Gosia Baczyńska – Poland Official Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has been on an official visit in Poland, where her new lease on style has followed her from England to Warsaw.

Warsaw Rising Museum: Arriving on Monday (July 17), she visited the Warsaw Rising Museum in an Alexander McQueen peplum suit that was lovely on its own accord. But, can we take a moment and appreciate the candy-apple-red Jenny Packham clutch and the sassier rendition of Gianvito Rossi nude pumps, each of which enhanced the fresh appeal of this classic look.

Queen’s Birthday Garden Party: I love how Catherine paid homage to her hosts with this bespoke dress from Polish designer Gosia Baczyńska. Perfect for a modern garden party, it had timeless appeal in its black-and-white palette and ladylike tea length whilst also offering an artistic edge. Pearls and a Prada clutch, not to mention yet another variation on Gianvito Rossi (ankle-strap!) heels completed the look with classic flourish.

Chloe Lukasiak In Alexander McQueen – ‘Descendants 2’ LA Premiere

Chloe Lukasiak was also at the ‘Descendants 2’ LA premiere on Tuesday (July 11), joining Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson.

She, however, was not wearing Vivienne Westwood, instead looking to the house of Alexander McQueen for this black-and-white eyelit dress.

By mixing the doily pattern motif and ruffled layers with the studded double belt, the look juxtaposed femininity with tougher edge.

In theory, I like the romance of the long pouf sleeves. But, I keep wondering what the dress would look like without them for a fresher effect on the young starlet.

Would you agree?
