Shailene Woodley In Valentino – 2012 Producers Guild Awards

After having such a great start to award season, Shailene Woodley arrived at the 2012 Producers Guild Awards on Saturday in Beverly Hills, California wearing a look which fails to excite.

She wore a Valentino Pre-Fall 2011 black velvet dress which isn’t particularly flattering.

The look may have been improved had she opted for the roped belt as worn by the model, but I think I’m just clutching at straws here.

The good things about her look are her Sergio Rossi ‘Ophidia’ cage sandals and the luscious rich red lip colour.

It’s a shame the dress didn’t live up to the shoes and makeup.

Shailene Woodley In Marchesa – 2012 Golden Globe Awards

Shailene Woodley was a vision on the red carpet for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

The young actress wore a lilac Marchesa embroidered illusion column dress with a draped detail on the hips from the Spring 2012 collection after a weekend of busy prints.

Wisely, she didn’t opt for any over-the-top accessories and instead allowed her dress to stand out.

As usual she opted for light barely-there makeup and a simple chic bun.

Shailene Woodley In Jason Wu – BAFTA Awards Season Tea Party

Shailene Woodley attended the BAFTA Awards Season Tea Party in LA on Saturday afternoon.

The actress looked very tea party appropriate in a modest Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012 silk flounce dress, paired with simple black pumps.

Shailene continued to prove that she is not afraid of daring prints, wearing an abstract geometrical design.

I would have preferred Shailene to have worn her dress with the knotted leather belt worn by the model, but regardless this is another solid showing from the young actress.

Loose waves and neutral makeup finish the look.

Shailene Woodley In Christopher Kane – 37th Annual Los Angeles Film Critics Awards

Shailene Woodley topped off a trio of prints at the 37th Annual Los Angeles Film Critics Awards yesterday evening.

The young newcomer wore a Christopher Kane Spring 2012 dress.

Her multi-colour floral print iridescent mini dress with an open back was team with a gorgeous pair of ocean blue Ferragamo sandals which have me drooling over my keyboard.

A simple topknot and barely-there makeup and a shimmering pink lip colour completed her look.

I’m really starting to love her choices as she continues to grab my attention.

Shailene Woodley In Honor – 2012 AFI Awards

Shailene Woodley attended the 2012 AFI Awards in Beverly Hills on Friday afternoon.

After wowing us in Calvin Klein at the Critics’ Choice Awards, the actress opted for a girlier look on this occasion wearing a cream Honor Spring 2012 lace dress.

Nude lining, scalloped hems and a simple ponytail add to the sweet ensemble.

We are only slightly turned off because of the black and cream Stella McCarteny two-tone faux leather Mary Janes which seem too heavy for the lightness of the look.

Perhaps if she had worn a black belt they may have worked, or just a simpler sandal.

I also wish she’d kept the Peter Pan collar.
