Vanity Fair And Lancome Toast To The Hollywood Issue

There were more lovely ladies who attended Vanity Fair And Lancome Toast To The Hollywood Issue party in LA on Thursday (March 1), joining Zendaya Coleman, Danai Gurira, Tracee Ellis Ross and Tessa Thompson.

Nina Dobrev: Stepping once again outside her “Zuhair Murad mini dress” and “short set” comfort-zone, the actress wore a layered Calvin Klein dress which was super simple in design. I can’t say I’m too excited by this. I wish that the vibrant orange sandals had also translated to her clutch, which feels too heavy with this look.

Aubrey Plaza: I’m loving the array of biscuit hues which make up a ultra chic look from Michael Kors’ Fall 2018 Collection.

Madeline Brewer: Bold hues, a fringed hem and cut-outs? It sounds like there’s a lot going on with this Cushine et Ochs Pre-Fall 2018 two-piece look, but visually, it’s outstanding.

Selma Blair In Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture – 2017 Baby2Baby Gala

Selma Blair joined Jessica Biel and Gwyneth Paltrow for the 2017 Baby2Baby Gala on Saturday (November 11) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture look which may divide opinions.

While I prefer the more detailed runway look, my belief is that Selma’s paired back look was the perfect choice for her as she’s never been one for too much detail.

My feeling is the runway look would’ve been too overwhelming.

PORTER Incredible Women Gala Red Carpet Roundup

The PORTER Incredible Women Gala on Wednesday (November 1) in Hollywood, California had numerous stylish ladies in attendance, joining PORTER cover girl Brie LarsonAnnabelle Wallis and Kate Bosworth.

Charlize Theron: The actress mixed feminine and masculine elements in a Givenchy ensemble. The sharp black jacket’s tailoring was a striking contrast against the floral printed dress with high hemline. The injection of red courtesy of her sandals and lipstick enlivened the look and brought out the pattern on the frock.

Selma Blair: The actress lit up the red carpet in Marc Jacobs Resort 2018. The embellishment gave the black dress a polka dot effect, but it had much more glamour than the traditional pattern thanks to the way the diamantes catch the light.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw:
While the others went for statement dresses, the British actress selected a statement Burberry teal and amber yellow peak lapel tailored suit. The gold tones in the coordinates enhanced her complexion while the accessories brought out the blue elements.

ERDEM x H&M Fashion Show

PYTs flocked to the ERDEM x H&M Fashion Show held on Wednesday (October 18) in LA—and were naturally attired in the highly anticipated, flower-forward collaboration.

Zendaya: The one thing I would have changed about Zendaya’s vintage-mod, ladylike statement would be her footwear, as the light pumps seemed at a disconnect from the darker floral palette of the skirt. Otherwise, she was completely selling the retro vibe of the look–from bouffant hair to ankles.

Kirsten Dunst: Riffing on the silk pyjama trend, Kirsten’s pair of loungewear-influenced separates were bolstered by her heels and embellished handbag.

Kate Bosworth: I like how this printed frock celebrated the height of romantic femininity whilst also echoing Kate’s bohemian-loving side.

Hammer Museum Gala In The Garden

The Hammer Museum Gala in the Garden was hosted on Saturday (October 14) in LA, with a crush of beauties in attendance—and all outfitted in one of the night’s leading supporters, Bottega Veneta.

Emmy Rossum: Looking nearly impossibly elegant, Emmy stunned in a Fall 2017 gown that beautifully shimmered with its gunmetal metallic plisse design. I love how her red lip and refined waves imbued another element of classic allure to the striking look.

Priyanka Chopra: I liked the softer palette of this Bottega Veneta Spring 2018 ensemble, but the creamy-white pumps let the look down.

Sarah Jessica Parker: This Resort 2018 gown was a rather subdued look for the likes of SJP.
