Saoirse Ronan In Proenza Schouler - 'The Host' New York Premiere

Saoirse Ronan joined co-star Diane Kruger on the red carpet at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York City last night for a screening of ‘The Host’.

As the lead actress in this movie, she was sure to stand out in this Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2013 dress, which was presented in the look book as a coat.

Her blue tweed jacquard short-sleeved dress featured an asymmetrical black leather trim and a black leather belt to nip in her waist.

I’m intrigued to see how her Monique Lhuillier blue-and-black sandals would’ve worked with this look, as Saoirse opted for black Christian Louboutin cut-out ankle boots.

The young actress continues to work a fresh-faced look with her blonde tresses teased into a wavy hairstyle.

Saoirse Ronan In Carven - SiriusXM Studios

Saoirse Ronan paid a visit to SiriusXM Studios in New York City yesterday afternoon to promote her new movie, ‘The Host’.

The Irish actress wore a Carven Pre-Fall 2013 look, which consisted of a green satin shirt with the designer’s signature Peter Pan collar in blue, with a forest-green flared tweed skirt.

My attention immediately went to her feet as she was wearing a striking pair of Monique Lhuillier ‘Blue Kid’ black-and-blue python-print heels from the designer’s debut Spring 2013 collection.

Barely-there makeup and a simple bun completed her daytime promo-tour look.

Saoirse Ronan In Lanvin - 'The Host' LA Premiere

Saoirse Ronan attended the ‘The Host’ LA premiere held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California with co-star Diane Kruger last night.

I hate to say this out loud, but I was a tad disappointed by her Lanvin Spring 2013 dress.

The Irish actress usually uses the red carpet to showcase a new designer or an edgy piece; however, this falls into neither category.

While I don’t hate the dress – the maroon colour is gorgeous and I do like the black side bow – this is very blah for someone like Saoirse, right down to the Hollywood black pumps by Lanvin.

Being so young, she has the chance to continue to experiment with fashion; I just wish last night had been one of the nights she’d excited rather than blended in.

EF Collection and J/Hadley onyx jewels completed her look.

Saoirse Ronan In Tabitha Webb - 'The Host' LA Press Conference

Saoirse Ronan attended a press conference for ‘The Host’ at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday.

The young Irish actress wore a Tabitha Webb Spring 2013 dress.

Inspired by vintage prints and classic iconic cuts, British brand Tabitha Webb is fast becoming the international go-to label, with celebs such as the Duchess of Cambridge and Miranda Kerr counted as fans.

Her red dress with raglan sleeves, featuring a playful horse-print, was styled with a gold Daisy London pendant necklace and pointy flat patent-leather black shoes with a grey-and-white pattern.

I love how the shoes keep the look grounded and youthful. Having introduced us to designers like Simone Rocha, I’m very excited about what Saoirse will bring to this promo tour.

Saoirse Ronan In Simone Rocha - Irish Film And Television AwardsSaoirse Ronan recently took a rather casual stroll down the red carpet at the Irish Film and Television Awards at the Convention Centre Dublin in Ireland.

She wore a look from designer Simone Rocha’s Fall 2012 collection, which was actually the young up-and-comer’s first runway show.

The boyish shape of the sharply cut dress got a dose of peek-a-boo provocativeness with its bra-flashing, sheer sides. But the shiny fabric didn’t photograph as richly as I would have liked.

The Irish actress pared down the model’s styling by skipping the frilly neck collar and the towering crochet hat. While those accessories might have been out of place, just as puzzling was that ponytail with its ’90s crimping.

Saoirse did, however, steal those purposefully clunky brogues with the Perspex soles straight off the runway, which definitely put the street in this statement. The starkness of the white shoe didn’t work so well here, though.

They also reminded me of a more intentional version of Kristen Stewart’s infamous red-carpet Converse kicks.
