Rose Byrne In Balenciaga – ‘I Give It A Year’ 2013 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival Premiere

Rose Byrne attended the ‘I Give It A Year’ 2013 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival premiere held at the Topfer Theater in Austin, Texas on Saturday.

The Australian beauty wore a Balenciaga Resort 2013 summery peach ruffled three-quarter-sleeved blouse with a leather pinstriped skirt.

Known for her impeccable styling, Rose added a white Chanel clutch, white Lanvin pumps, a Soffer Ari ring, a State Room bracelet and House of Lavande earrings to her look.

Sans smoky eyes, Rose kept her complexion fairly neutral, with an effortless bun completing her look.

She continues to be one of my favourites. She has rarely, if ever, put a foot wrong.

Rose Byrne In Lanvin – 2013 Vanity Fair Party

Rose Byrne was a vision in white, as she joined a chic set at the 2013 Vanity Fair Party last night, held at Sunset Tower in Los Angeles, California.

She stepped out in a bodysuit and skirt from Lanvin’s Spring 2013 collection.

At first glance, this may seem like a safe choice. But with just the slight side turn, this ensemble went from innocently white to white-hot, as the daring splice of that backless, barely-there bodysuit was revealed.

The simple wrap skirt, which was a stark contrast to the runway’s navy version and metallic belt, brought another layer of hidden seduction with the slit up the front.

With the help of designer Alber Elbaz, Rose shows us here that elegance can be edgy, and sophisticated can be sexy.

Perfectly placed Chanel jewels, including a stunning pendant earring and bangle, dressed up this ensemble even more. I don’t even mind the white platform pumps on this occasion.

I also loved her loose, effortless waves and the punch of that fuchsia lippie.

A Swarovski clutch completed her look.

Rose Byrne In Chanel – 2013 Chanel Pre-Oscar Dinner

Rose Byrne started celebrating the 2013 Academy Awards early on Saturday night at the Chanel Pre-Oscar Dinner held at Madeo Restaurant in Los Angeles.

The ‘I Give It a Year’ star wore a black and silver knit dress from Chanel Spring 2013.

Rose went for an “x marks the spot” look in a two-toned dress, but I think the placement of the design doesn’t quite do her figure justice. The style is a bit bland for Rose, who looks beautiful in designs with more colour, like this plum hue.

She added an element of brightness to the look via white and gold matching pumps and clutch, also from Chanel.

I typically like Rose’s natural makeup style, but I think the darkness of the dress calls for a brightening red lip, like she did so beautifully in this black Chanel number.

Rose Byrne In Valentino – 2013 SAG Awards

Among a sea of black, white, and metallic gowns, Rose Byrne stood out in an oversized floral print at Sunday’s SAG Awards.

A camelon of red carpet styles, the ‘I Give It a Year’ star looked refreshingly spring-like in a ruffled colour palette of yellow, coral and seafoam from Valentino Resort 2013.

To allow the major ruffles and bold pattern be the stars of the red carpet, the actress opted for understated jewels by Van Cleef & Arpels and a simple Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch.

To complete the glam style, Rose went with a retro-inspired beauty look with a bright pink pout and sculpted waves.

Rose Byrne In Balenciaga – ‘I Give It A Year’ London Premiere

Rose Byrne opted for a simple, yet elegant look on the red carpet tonight for the London premiere of her latest movie, ‘I Give It A Year’.

Wearing a pretty Balenciaga pink dress with a cowl-neckline and nipped in waist, she styled the look with an interesting ivory Thale Blanc decorated clutch, Dana Rebecca jewels and Charlotte Olympia ‘Dolly’ pumps.

I haven’t been a fan of many of the footwear choices today, and that continues here as I think her pumps are too heavy for her minimalist look.

Soft waves, rosy cheeks (no doubt enhance by the cold weathe) and a pink lip colour completed her look.
