Red Carpet Fashion Awards

As a fixture in the front row of many runway shows, Olivia Palermo knows how to put a look together.

The star was looking effortlessly stylish, once again, in Verona, Italy yesterday for Intimissimi’s Autumn/Winter 2013 preview and show wearing two chic short looks.

Elements of her looks were much the same: sheer button-down blouses, leg-flaunting scalloped shorts, and the same houndstooth bow-accented pumps to finish each look, but that’s where the similarities end.

The first look is more summery for daytime. Repeating her favourite floral shorts, Olivia adds a long sleeved aqua Intimissimi blouse with a ruffle detail wearing her glossy brunette locks down.

Her second look, which is just right for an evening out, features an Intimissimi black sheer blouse with an embellished collar with matching scalloped shorts.

She finished off the ensemble with a stunning pair of oversized cat-eye vintage tortoise shell sunglasses, gold jewelry, a large red Fendi ‘2Jours’ leather shopper (complete with ‘O.P.’ initials) which we first saw carried by a woman known also by her initials, Sarah Jessica Parker.

I love her beautifully twisted hairstyle and hot red nail polish.

The second look is my favourite. Which look do you prefer?

Celebrities, editors, designers and even royalty were seated in the front row of the Christian Dior Fall 2012 Couture presentation held in Paris, France, this afternoon.

Mélanie Laurent: The French actress was my favourite from all the attendees at this event. I’m most in love with the printed bell-shaped tiered skirt which she styled with the same satin blush sleeveless top from the runway. I’m not missing the necklace, but I would’ve preferred it had she tied back her beachy wavy locks.

Princess Charlene of Monaco: Dressed in head-to-toe pink Dior, the Princess looked uber chic even though I wish she opted for a belt.

Anna Dello Russo: The editor-at-large for Vogue Nippon has always been fearless when it comes to fashion, but I’ve never seen her show off so much skin. Dressed in a hot-pink Fausto Puglisi Spring 2012 dress with cut-out details and an elaborate gold-embroidered detail, the look is styled with all pink accessories including a Valentino clutch and YSL shoes. TMI or fearless fashionista?

Olivia Palermo was on hand to help celebrate the start of the 34th Moscow Film Festival in Russia last week.

As the face of Spanish jewellery brand Carrera y Carrera, who sponsor the event, Olivia graced the red carpet wearing a Katie Ermilio ensemble, a brand we were first introduced to via Brooklyn Decker during her ‘Battleship’ promo tour.

Olivia paired a bright blue blouse with high-waisted reversible shorts, with a black vintage blazer thrown over her shoulders.

A feathered clutch, which Olivia seems to favour, plus a stack of lust-worthy accessories, as always, enhanced Olivia’s look.

I was delighted to see her wearing the same Tibi ‘Amber’ heels which I own.

This is perfect from head-to-toe.

Olivia Palermo’s fashionable travels took her to Milan, Italy last night, where she attended the 2012 Convivio charity gala event.

Dressed in a brightly coloured hue, the star looked beautiful wearing a BCBG Max Azria dress.

Her look features red-and-ecru blouse with an asymmetrical layered maxi skirt.

Usually Olivia is all about the accessories, but I’m not a fan of the brown croc belt and the black suede clutch combo.

A strange disconnect for Olivia. I can’t say I’m too enamored by her shade of foundation either.

Carrera y Carrera jewels, a sweeping updo and Boutique 9 ‘Doetzen’ strappy bi-colour sandals completed her look.

Olivia Palermo and her beau Johannes Huebl were in Jersey City for the 5th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on Saturday afternoon.

The socialite wore a violet shirt over a Topshop dark green tank and a semi-sheer Topshop metallic pleated skirt.

She accessorized with a gold pendant Carrera y Carrera necklace and Wunderkind sunglasses.

Simple hazelnut flats, a matching Givenchy ‘Nightingale’ leather bag and wavy locks completed the look.

Normally I love whatever Olivia wears, but I only like the accessories on this occasion.

The top half of this look doesn’t work with the bottom half for me.

Charlize Theron eventually won your votes for best dressed this week after a close battle with Zhang Ziyi.

The blonde actress blew you away in her Christian Dior Couture electric blue sparkling strapless dress.

I wasn’t crazy about most of the looks this week, or maybe I was suffering from Cannes withdrawals.

Olivia Palermo was my favourite. I adored her summery street-style ensemble which included a cute pair of Parker shorts.
