Nina Dobrev In Sachin + Babi - 'The Vampires Diaries' Press Line Comic Con 2013

Nina Dobrev played the ultimate cool-girl on Saturday, as she walked ‘The Vampire Diaries’ press line at Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego, California.

The actress brought a whiff of fresh fashion air to the day with her Sachin + Babi Resort 2014 top and shorts.

I would have never thought twice about the lookbook version of the black-and-white striped top, splashed at the side with a distorted, watercolour floral print, which also vividly bloomed on the shorts.

But Nina’s edgier, polished styling of the pieces, with the pushed-up sleeves and tucked-in shirt, not to mention those playful, metallic ultraviolet Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps had me in full-on covet mode.

Long, loose waves and a bright pink pout added a flourish of girly flair.

The CW Network's New York 2013 Upfront Presentation

A bevy of bright young things made quite an entrance at The CW Network’s New York 2013 Upfront Presentation, hosted at The London Hotel yesterday in New York City. Among the hot list, there are starlets from ‘The Carrie Diaries’ to ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and every TV show in between—and they certainly didn’t keep their sartorial sass under lock and key.

Jaime King: The ‘Hart of Dixie’ star flaunted a bold swish of brushstrokes (and her baby bump) in a Peter Pilotto Fall 2013 satin frock, worn with a Rachel Zoe statement cuff and thick strappy Etro shoes. With its abstract expressionist mood, this was nearly like a Mark Rothko painting put onto a dress. Casual blonde waves and a sweep of sky-blue eye liner completed the artistic look.

Aimee Teegarden: The ‘Star-Crossed’ actress must have gotten the art memo, too, as her romper was a study in watercolour prints. The rush of swirling hues was exhilarating; so too was the pop of neon-blue from the pumps and her coral lippie. I just wish her ‘do had carried the same exuberance, as it seemed to fall flat.

Nina Dobrev: Our favourite TV vamp was obviously still channeling a touch of punk attitude from last week’s Met Gala. The newly single star turned up the volume in a blue body-con dress by Versace that featured a punch of black leather, grommets and metal. Shiny platinum Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ heels added a final flourish.

AnnaSophia Robb: The young Carrie Bradshaw gave us a peek (literally) of her big-city style with this Katie Ermilio design that featured no fewer than three of the hottest trends of late: stripes, mismatched patterns and midriff cutouts. With so much happening in her dress, she kept the rest of the styling straightforward with minimal accessories, including a pair of Sorellina butterfly earrings and metallic Casadei pumps. Side-swept pin curls sent this look straight to the ’50s while lavender eye shadow added a youthful, fun edge.

With such a variety of styles, who was your top-dressed starlet of the four?

Nina Dobrev’s Monique Lhuillier Met Gala look was your best dressed this week.

Even though you guys didn’t rate her, Amber Heard in Emilio Pucci was my best dressed this week by a very long mile.

Between the colour, the embellishments, impeccable styling and that sexy open back, I was hooked.

When it came to the guys, it was a two-horse race between Eddie Redmayne and Chris Pine. Eventually, Chris won for his very dapper Ralph Lauren pinstripe three-piece suit.

Nina Dobrev In Monique Lhuillier - 2013 Met Gala

‘Vampire Diaries’ star Nina Dobrev went for it with the punk theme at the Met Gala, and is looking totally sexy on the red carpet.

Wearing a Monique Lhuillier corseted, black lace pantsuit accented with a black leather halter and tulle overskirt, Nina is beyond fierce.

Her Rupert Sanderson pumps are the perfect accent.

Her strong cat eye and side swept locks say punk without getting costumey, and her jewels add some glamour to the entire look.

I think Nina is one of the best of the night by going punk without looking like she’s dressed for Halloween. Do you agree?

Nina Dobrev In Thakoon - Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturizer Launch

Nina Dobrev made an appearance at the Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturizer launch in New York City on Friday.

The Vampire Diaries starlet went for a daring look by selecting Thakoon Spring 2013 frock.

The halterneck dress with a black-and-white criss-cross bodice make me wish I kick started my pre-spring gym training a few months earlier.

Showcasing more than a little bit of skin up top, the bottom half was a totally different story, with a contrasting demure black pleated skirt.

Opting for a fresh faced look and simple top knot, Nina styled her look with black Jimmy Choo Fitch sandals – a celebrity favourite – and a silver ring.

While this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, I have to say it’s a risk that paid off. It’s on trend plus she has the body to wear it so why not?

Nina Dobrev In Versace - ‘The Great Gatsby’ World Premiere

Nina Dobrev joined Florence Welch and Carey Mulligan on the red carpet on Wednesday night for ‘The Great Gatsby’ world premiere held at Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City.

The ‘Vampires Diaries’ actress put her best foot forward, as always, wearing a sultry Versace Spring 2013 frock.

Styling the look with gold accessories proved to be a wise choice considering the gold accents which decorated her black frock. She opted for Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps, with an added kick of a crystallized heel, and a Jimmy Choo black clutch with a gold frame.

Her enviable glossy locks were swept to one side, with Susan Foster jewels rounding out the look.

Nina Dobrev In Max Mara - 2nd Annual 25 Most Powerful Stylists Luncheon

Continuing her chic streak, Nina Dobrev strutted out a trendsetting statement at the second annual 25 Most Powerful Stylists Luncheon on Wednesday in California, hosted by ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ and Jimmy Choo.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ starlet attended the event with her stylist, Ilaria Urbinati, who also looks after Bradley Cooper, Jason Clarke, Armie Hammer, Krysten Ritter, Chris Evans, Ian Somerhalder and Joel Edgerton.

The actress was red-haute in her Max Mara one-shoulder jumpsuit. The colour was chosen in honor of Ilaria and Nina’s first outfit together—that jaw-dropping red Donna Karan gown from the 2011 Emmy Awards, which really put Nina on the fashion map.

Those Jimmy Choo ‘Biel’ wedges also had a golden moment, bringing a shot of metallic shine to this ensemble as did her Devi Kroell clutch.

This time, a red lippie didn’t come out to play. In keeping with the more casual, daytime vibe, Nina went for a lighter, nude pout and straight, side-parted locks.

Via twitter Ilaria said that she picked this red look in honour of her first look together with Nina.  This was the red Donna Karan Atelier gown which is in the RCFA Hall of Fame.
