Nieves Alvarez In Elie Saab Couture – ‘Sicario’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Nieves Alvarez In Elie Saab Couture - ‘Sicario’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Nieves Alvarez made her first appearance at Cannes Film Festival this evening for the ‘Sicario’ Premiere on Tuesday (May 19) in Cannes, France.

Nipplegate aside, the Spanish beauty looked fabulous wearing an Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture ombre gown that screamed glamour. This is why her presence is always welcome at this festival.

Like Petra, Nievez is one of the few wearing a summery gown at this event; I hope more stars embrace the current season moving forward.

I love the addition of the nude Christian Louboutin studded clutch. The only thing I would change is the red nails for nude.

I’ve waited a long time to see this gown, so you’ll get no complaints from me tonight.

Nieves Alvarez In Stéphane Rolland Couture – 2015 Goya Awards

Nieves Alvarez In Stéphane Rolland - 2015 Goya Awards

Nieves Alvarez attended the 2015 Goya Awards held at Centro de Congresos Principe Felipe on Saturday (February 7) in Madrid, Spain.

Ruling this red carpet like she has on so many occasions, the model took center stage sweeping the red carpet with her Stéphane Rolland Fall 2014 Couture tuxedo-inspired gown featuring a mesh bodice and dual colour black and white-clouds-breaking-the-storm skirt with shredded organza appliqués.

Her supremely elegant look was styled with Bulgari jewels and a black Christian Louboutin satin bow accented clutch.

I have to say I much prefer the red carpet styling with the nude lip and wavy faux bob.

She really is the master at her craft; looking drop-dead gorgeous on every possible occasion.

Nieves Alvarez In Emilio Pucci – Licor 43 New Bottle Presentation

Nieves Alvarez In Emilio Pucci - Licor 43 New Bottle Presentation

Following Paris Couture Week Nieves Alvarez returned home for the presentation of the new Licor 43 bottle held at Cristal Tower on Thursday (January 29) in Madrid, Spain.

The model wore an Emilio Pucci Spring 2015 white lace dress decorated with colourful floral appliqués which were prevalent within this collection.

The dress firmly places her in the spotlight, however, I am sure many will question the length.

Yep, it is super short, but she certainly has the legs for it.

Christian Louboutin silver and red heart ‘Cora’ sandals completed her leggy look.

Front Row @ Elie Saab Spring 2015 Couture

Elie Saab

Elie Saab showcased his Spring 2015 Couture collection in Paris, France, on Wednesday (January 28) with a front row full of celebrities.

Nieves Alvarez: Having walked for Stephane Rolland the day before, the model was off duty, no doubt eyeing up options for the Goya Awards (the Spanish Oscars), which takes place on February 7. She kept her look simple wearing a black Elie Saab jumpsuit spliced with lace panels, which she styled with a gold clutch.

Eugenia Silva: Looking like the odd woman out, the model was the only celeb not to opt for black, standing out by selecting a heavenly minty-green look from Elie Saab’s Resort 2015 collection.

Elie Saab 2

Dita Von Teese: The burlesque star was smouldering in the front row wearing an LBD with sultry lace panels, which was oh-so-very Dita, with signature styling to boot.

Clotilde Courau: No stranger to wearing Elie Saab, the French beauty wore a black Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture frock in a familiar silhouette with oversized beaded detailing. If you are having a mild case of déjà vu, that may be because Julia Roberts’s Emmy dress had the same embellishments.

Even I have to admit that I prefer the all-black looks here. They are so chic and elegant, as an Elie Saab woman should be. Eugenia, while she looked lovely, dressed for the wrong season.

Best Dressed International Star 2014 – Nieves Alvarez

Best Dressed International Star 2014 – Nieves Alvarez

Nieves Alvarez once again made the cut as the best-dressed international star, continuing her glamorous streak from her best-dressed nod for 2013.

While we’ve been accustomed to seeing the Spanish beauty parade out a collection of impressive looks on her ‘Solo Moda’ show over the past few years, 2014 has kept her busy navigating the red carpets of awards galas, film premieres and fashion presentations from Paris to Milan to Madrid in equally fine form.

The great thing about Nieves is that she embraces the art of fashion and its many forms. While the full-on sparkle of a sultry, beaded gown may be her go-to, she isn’t just a one-trick pony.

She just as seamlessly maneuvers the spicy edge of a slinky mini and the mannish angles of a double-breasted tuxedo as she does the flirty femininity of a playful frock and the bold proportions of a ball gown.

Always in supermodel form, she can pull off just about anything—and she takes full advantage of that status. One thing’s certain: The fashion is always fierce when it comes to Nieves.
