Sporting a side-swept ponytail, Nieves Alvarez gave us three more looks for her fourteenth Solo Moda show, which aired in Spain on Sunday.
A long-sleeve printed Marni frock with a high neckline and contrasting waistband with a jewel accent was styled with nude Jimmy Choo sandals and a Pandora ring.
Nieves’ second look was more interesting and playful, as she teamed an MSGM chevron-printed blouse with a ultra-short mini skirt, both of which are from the Fall 2012 collection.
The look is amped up with an awesome pair of Manolo Blahnik peep-toe ankle boots with stunning Pandora earrings which were perfectly colour-coordinated to her blouse, rose-gold Pandora arm-candy and an Alexis Bittar oversized cocktail ring.
For Nieves’ final look, the mood became more sultry with her wearing an Angel Schlesser Fall 2012 dress with a silver-embellished top and black silk drop-waist skirt.
Always one to find the perfect heels to complement her look, she donned D&G two-tone sandals with Alexis Bittar jewels providing the finishing touches.

For her twelfth ‘Solo Moda’ programme, Nieves Alvarez started things off with a bang wearing a Roberto Cavalli Fall 2012 forest green embellished suit.
The suit with bold shoulders and flared pants was styled with matching Jimmy Choo peep-toes and a simple white shirt.
Keeping the green theme going, the host wore a black and green military-inspired Mango contrast panel dress with buttoned epaulette detailing for her second look.
I love her beige Jimmy Choo sandals and her Alexis Bittar cuffs which make her High Street frock look very expensive.
Nieves’ final look was a jade green Halston cape dress. Once again, it’s the accessories that make this look with red Mango pumps, a gold Marni necklace and Alexis Bittar cuff, ensuring that this look didn’t fall flat.
I love all three looks, but the Mango is my favourite. I would’ve gone with the Cavalli had she opted for a sexier blouse.

For her twelfth ‘Solo Moda’ programme, Nieves Alvarez toned down the more colourful looks we have seen in previous weeks, for three looks with more muted tones.
First up was a black David Delfin Fall 2012 animal-print ensemble.
After weeks of showcasing her gorgeous pins, she covered them up on this occasion wearing slim pants with a matching blouse.
The look feels very masculine on the runway, but the model oozes feminine sophistication in this look which she paired with Jimmy Choo silver sandals. This is my favourite look of the three.
Nieves’ second look was from the Dsquared² Pre-Fall 2012 collection. The teal dress with a keyhole detail and embellished collar was paired with my favourite shoes from her so far.
These tri-colour Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Eiffel Tower’ sandals just shot to number one on my want list.
I’m surprised to say this, but I’m not really fond of her third look.
This gold metallic Marchesa dress isn’t doing much for Nieves. As a supermodel, one of her super powers is to make anything look good, but that ability failed on this occasion as I don’t find the fit very flattering.
Black Jimmy Choo peep-toes completed the look.

For her eleventh ‘Solo Moda’ programme, Nieves Alvarez started the show wearing a Roberto Torretta electric-blue silk dress.
The simple dress comes alive with the gorgeous hot-pink Tali sandals and a gold pendant necklace by Magerit.
Her second look was a Fausto Puglisi Fall 2012 one-shoulder colour-block dress.
I love the combination of colours and the streamline fit. The host added Oscar de la Renta gold ankle-strap peep-toes to this look, which is my favourite of the three.
Nieves’ third look instantly reminded me of Catherine Zeta Jones’ ‘Rock of Ages’ LA premiere dress which is not surprising considering this nude dress with black embroidered details is by the same designer, Zuhair Murad.
Her Pre-Fall 2012 dress was styled with Christian Dior black sandals and a dazzling set of drop earrings by Pandora.
