Who Wore D&G Better? Bianca Brandolini D’Adda or Miley Cyrus

Franca Sozzani and Lapo Elkann hosted a party for Diane von Furstenberg during Milan Fashion Week which was attended by socialite Bianca Brandolini D’Adda.

She looked good on the dance-floor wearing a D&G tiered halterneck dress.

Miley Cyrus wore the same dress to the 2010 MTV EMAs last night in Madrid.

Both girls wore their hair wavy and accessorized with a stack of bracelets.

Bianca wins for me as she has more height to carry off this look.

Miley Cyrus In D&G – 2010 MTV EMAs

Finally An Age Appropriate Look Award
Yes Miley Cyrus is now 17, but I did find it really hard to warm to her red carpet style for a long while.

After years of inappropriate ultra mini dresses and OTT pouting, it looks like the young actress/singer has finally worn a dress on the red carpet that I like.

She looked adorable on the red carpet for the 2010 MTV EMAs tonight wearing a D&G haltered tiered dress from the Fall 2010 collection.

Her white dress has delicate cascading ruffles and contrasting black waistband and bow detail.

She completed her look with a stack of gold bracelets and a beaming smile.

This dress was previously worn by Italian socialite Bianca Brandolini D’Adda.

Miley Cyrus’ Wardrobe Changes At The 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards

Miley Cyrus hosted the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards which took place in Toronto, Canada on Sunday night.

Like any host Miley had several wardrobe changes.

One of her looks was a black silk chiffon Ina Soltani flowing gown with an alligator bodice.

Her only demure look was paired with her favourite Alexander Wang Freja boots.

The teen star turned things up a notch when she collected an award for ‘International Video Of The Year’ for ‘Party In The USA’ wearing a tight leather dress which she wore with Alaia booties.

My favourite look was her Bess Sioux leather dress.

The tan stretch-leather long-sleeve mini dress was also paired with Alaia booties.

I loved the colour and how it complemented her new lighter honey do.

I also really liked her nude Hervé Léger by Max Azria Fall 2010 strapless bandage dress which she paired with Loree Rodkin jewels and leopard print Louboutin peep-toes.

Whether we like it, or are comfortable with it Miley’s growing up fast and she wants us all to know about it.

“Can’t Be Tamed” Madrid Album Presentation – Miley Cyrus In Proenza Schouler & Saloni

Whilst we were enjoying an extended weekend, Miley Cyrus was in Madrid on Monday to present her new album “Can’t Be Tamed”.

The star who’s taking a edgier direction with her music wore a Proenza Schouler tie dye tank top from the Spring 2010 collection.

The top – which revealed her black bra – was paired with Saloni
draped leggings and 6in Christian Louboutin Alta Bouton ankle boots which Victoria Beckham was also spotted wearing this weekend.

To support her grown up look Miley wore a Blisslau Riot bracelet on her forearm.

Forearm bracelet and bra revealing aside I gotta say that I like this look. She could’ve worn a lot less, but she managed to restrain herself.

‘The Last Song’ LA Premiere – Miley Cyrus In Thomas Wylde

17 year old Miley Cyrus and her 19 year old boyfriend/co-star Liam Hemsworth made their red carpet debut as a couple at the premiere of ‘The Last Song’ last night.

I was surprised at how demure Miley looked. Will Liam be her calming influence?

I really liked her in this black leather asymmetrical Thomas Wylde dress. The ruffled embellished shoulder detail was a nice touch.

The black pumps were expected but they worked well with this look, especially considering she was going for a more mature look whilst walking the red carpet with her boyfriend.

Like many couples who walk the red carpet together, it was hard to find many pictures of Miley alone, but at least Liam didn’t obscure our view of her dress.

I like that she pulled back her hair and kept both her make-up and accessories light.

Great look for Miley considering the occasion, but I would like to see her in something more fun next time out.

Miley Cyrus For Teen Vogue April 2010

Miley Cyrus is the latest cover star for Teen Vogue appearing in the April 2010 issue.

The teen actress was shot by photographer Patrick Demarchelier in Paris.

On the cover she sports straight hair whilst wearing a Versus Spring 2010 mini red dress.

The editorial isn’t just about her. Her co-star – and boyfriend – Liam Hemsworth also appears in the issue. Let’s hope they don’t break up before the May issue hits the stands.

Here are some extracts from Miley’s interview:

On her first impression of Liam: “He’s really tall. I thought, Either I’m going to have to be in heels or standing on something for this entire movie! He definitely showed chivalry: I remember him opening the door for the director, and I was like, Wow.”

On her future in music: “The more I make music that doesn’t truly inspire me, the more I feel like I’m blending in with everyone else. So after this next album, I’m taking some time off.”

On her chemistry with Liam: “I think we’re both deeper than normal people—what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.”
