Lady Gaga For Vogue US September 2012

Lady Gaga lands her second American Vogue cover, but this time it’s the coveted September 2012 issue.

Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shot Gaga for the cover, which was styled by Grace Coddington, donning a spectacular Marc Jacobs Fall 2012 purple mermaid gown.

The singer looks amazing on the cover, unrecognisable, but fierce nonetheless.

She talks to the magazine about her new fragrance, her ‘Born This Way Ball’ world tour, her meat dress and her music.

Be sure to check out this issue when it hits newsstands on August 14.

On her new signature scent: “The fragrance is called Fame. It must be black. It must be enticing. You must want to lick and touch and feel it, but the look of it must terrify you.”

On dreaming up a ‘fortress’ that lets her dance 50 feet above the audience for her Born This Way Ball world tour: “I really wanted to break the mold of what modern touring is now.”

On the reinvention of the meat dress for her tour: “We were talking about putting the show together and I said, OK, what if I was someone’s grandma and I was going to a concert tonight. How would I know that it was a Gaga show? And we all just sort of looked at each other and said, ‘The meat dress.’”

On her music-making approach: “I don’t really make records for people to listen to and go, ‘Wow, she’s a genius’. I’d really like you to order a drink, maybe kiss the person you came with that evening, or rediscover something about your past that makes you feel even more brave.”

Lady Gaga In Aquilano.Rimondi – Crown Perth Hotel

Lady Gaga was greeted by a crowd of fans as she was spotted leaving the Crown Perth Hotel in Burswood Perth, Western Australia, yesterday.

With her hair extensions twisted into an intricate updo, the 26-year-old eccentric singer wore an Aquilano.Rimondi Fall 2012 dress.

The navy, green and black mini dress with a high neckline and cut-out detail that highlighted her cleavage didn’t need that necklace, but Gaga doesn’t do things by halves.

Towering in lace-up platform boots she styled her look with sunglasses and ruby earrings.

I love that the designers are finally getting some exposure, but I don’t like this look at all on Gaga.

She’s too busty for it, plus I’m not a fan of the necklace and hairdo.

Lady Gaga In Atelier Versace – Park Hyatt Hotel

On Saturday, Lady Gaga was spotted returning back to her hotel in Sydney, Australia, where she was greeted by her little ‘monsters’.

The singer was decked out in an Atelier Versace Spring 2012 gown.

Her silver crystal-embellished couture gown features cut-out details, a lace bodice and gold accents.

Wearing couture is becoming quite a typical everyday look for Gaga.

If you can wear couture to an airport, you can pretty much wear it anywhere.

The look was of course styled with another pair of platform pumps, this time custom-made by Brian Atwood.

Marge Simpson does couture, or do you love this look?

Lady Gaga In David Koma – Brisbane Airport

The next stop on Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour is Brisbane, Australia where she will perform three concerts at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

Earlier today she touched down at Brisbane airport delighting fans with her latest off-the-runway look.

Despite the dreary weather the singer wore a David Koma Fall 2012 halter dress.

The purple frock with a peplum waist and buckle detailing was styled with a matching pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Daffodile’ pumps.

At this point I believe Gaga has these pumps in every colour.

A new red bob and shades completed her look.

Lady Gaga In Antonio Berardi – Auckland’s Stamford Hotel

The next stop on Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour is New Zealand, where she will perform three concerts at the Vector Arena.

When she arrived at the Stamford Hotel in Auckland this afternoon, she met her little monsters; stopping to pose for photos.

Gaga delighted her fans wearing an Antonio Berardi Fall 2012 sleeveless peplum dress.

The singer works two trends in one; neon plus she joins the growing peplum posse.

Gaga wouldn’t be Gaga if she didn’t add some quirky accessories.

She styled her dress with white Christian Louboutin ‘Daffodile’ pumps (kill me now if this trend takes off), white gloves, cool smoke-framed sunglasses and pearl accented jewels.

A 40s hairstyle and a bold red lip colour completed her look.

I love the classic black-and-white runway version, but I adore the neon orange.

Lady Gaga In Alpana & Neeraj – Ritz Hotel Hong Kong

On Tuesday, Lady Gaga was spotted leaving the Ritz Hotel in Hong Kong wearing yet another fashion-forward look.

The singer wore an Alpana & Neeraj Fall 2012 dress.

Her white sculptural dress with an embellished shoulder detail and a peplum waist by the Indian designers was styled with a white Perspex headpiece by Little Shilpa.

Gaga’s elaborate, yet not shocking, look was completed with white leather gloves, a white python clutch and cream platform heels.

Yet again, this look gets a thumbs up from me. It’s the elegance with couture detailing sans her crazy over-the-topness that makes me fall in love with the look.

Lady Gaga In Versace – Narita International Airport

Lady Gaga arrived in Tokyo yesterday for her ‘Born This Way World’ Tour.

The singer, who recently wore an Atelier Versace gown for an airport arrival, settled this time for a ready-to-wear look.

She donned a Versace Fall 2012 chic black leather trench coat with a full pleated skirt covered entirely in Swarovski crystals.

Platforms aside, I love the look, even with the multi-coloured My Little Pony-esque ponytail.

Gaga’s tour is going to be a fashion festival, as she and her dancers will wear a number of custom-made Versace costumes.
