‘Woodshock’ LA Premiere

The ‘Woodshock’ premiere on Monday (September 18) in LA was a fantastical affair with attendees supporting designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s directorial debut in Rodarte.

Tessa Thompson: A frequent wearer of Rodarte, the actress-musician stayed true to form in a Rodarte Fall 2017 lace dress. The whimsical factor was enhanced with Yael Sonia jewels and Charlotte Olympia ‘Wild At Heart’ platform sandals. The finishing touch was a crown of blue flowers nestled in her updo.

Kirsten Dunst: Naturally, the longtime Rodarte devotee and ‘Woodshock’ star, donned Rodarte for the premiere. Some might have issues with the sheer dress from Spring 2018, but I find the diaphanous fabric helps tame the sweetness of the ruffles and sparkles. I also love the way Kirsten nodded to the runway version with a floral sprig in her blonde waves. Forevermark jewels completed her look.

Rowan Blanchard: Finishing the Rodarte trifecta, the young actress wore a shimmering Fall 2017 dress. If I had to nitpick, I find that the Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Gwyneth’ sandals distract slightly from the shimmering dress because of the black, whereas the coordinating clutch was more successful. Still, it was another successful look for the Rodarte fan.

Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte – ‘Woodshock’ New York Premiere

The all-Rodarte, all-of-the-time run for Kirsten Dunst continued at the New York premiere for ‘Woodstock’ in New York City on Thursday (September 14).

Kirsten wore yet another look from the Spring 2018 collection which was a beautiful modern take on the style of old-world Spanish queens.

Intricately crafted from floral tulle and glittered Chantilly lace with delicate effect the look was styled with ankle strap pumps strike a harmonious balance.

Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte – SiriusXM

Following Venice Film Festival, Kirsten Dunst was back stateside where she continued her promotion of ‘Woodstock’ at SiriusXM Studios earlier today (September 13) in New York City.

Going for a hat-trick of Rodarte looks, the actress opted to wear yet another bold floral two-piece look.

I love how the ruffled placket brings femininity, while the exaggerated cuffs add an off-kilter flair.

The chic look was teamed with Salvatore Ferragam sumptuous red pumps and a simple updo.

I’m so excited to see Kirsten back to loving fashion again.

Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte – ‘Woodshock’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

After the ‘Woodshock’ photocall at the Venice Film Festival, Kirsten Dunst was back on the red carpet on Monday evening (September 4) for premiere.

As the film marks Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s directorial debut, Kirsten naturally kept her Rodarte streak going in this Spring 2018 gown.

While I loved the boho florals of her photocall look, I was fully mesmerized by this second outing that brought the label’s unique brand of fairy-tale charms into play.

Frothy yet structured, with the cascade of tiers down the skirt, this polka-dot dress was the ultimate sartorial confection—topped off with a figure-enhancing floral bouquet applique at the waist.

Accessorised with a deep red lip for a bold contrast along with Irene Neuwirth jewels, the look was whimsically measured and equally captivating—despite its pale colour palette—while staying true to Kirsten’s unique style.

Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte – ‘Woodshock’ Venice Film Festival Photocall

No one should be surprised that Kirsten Dunst stars in Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s directorial debut for ‘Woodshock’.

The film, which has been guarded with secrecy so far, was presented at a photocall during Venice Film Festival this afternoon (September 4).

Kirsten was naturally in Rodarte, wearing a sheer top and trousers from the Spring 2018 collection.

The brands cool-girl credentials give way to enchanting florals within a look which exudes vintage and boho charm.

Since Cannes I have been fully on board with Kirsten’s bolder red carpet looks.

This might not be favoured by everyone, but give me this over a button-up granny frock any day.

I think she totally nailed the look.

Kirsten Dunst In Christian Dior – Vogue Paris Foundation Dinner

Kirsten Dunst joined a host of stars who attended the Vogue Paris Foundation dinner on Tuesday (July 4).

I have been mesmerized by Kirsten’s red carpet style since Cannes, but this Dior black velvet dress, which despite its semi-sheer skirt, felt a bit too heavy.

Considering the warm weather and the lack of air con in these beautiful historic venues in Paris I’m further perplexed by her choice.

Had she worn this for a New York screening in October I would’ve been more inclined to warm to this look.
