Kerry Washington In Miss Wu - GMA

If you are glued to ‘Scandal’ like I am, you’ll be sad to know that the season two finale is set to air on Thursday.

Kerry Washington, the star of the hit drama, was out in New York City promoting the show by making a guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ earlier today.

The actress matched her look to her newly highlighted ‘do, wearing a red leaf-print jacket from The Row, over an equally bold hued Miss Wu leather shirt dress with a mod-inspired silhouette.

Breaking up the matchy, matchiness of the look she added snakeskin Christian Louboutin pumps and a Jason Wu ‘Daphne’ cross-body bag for a quirky touch.

This is a perfect, youthful, approachable look for a daytime show, but I am still not a fan of those red highlights.

Kerry Washington In Narciso Rodriguez - 'Peeples' LA Premiere

Kerry Washington attended the LA premiere for ‘Peeples’, which was held at the ArcLight Hollywood in California on Wednesday evening.

I have never been shy about my affections for Kerry, but on this rare occasion I dislike this look – a lot. I will go on record to say it is probably my least favourite look from her.

The actress wore a surprisingly unflattering Narciso Rodriguez Fall 2013 dress with yet another high-low hemline, which differs slightly from the runway version.

I really dislike the fit around her chest and overall poor quality. Kerry is so much better than this dress suggests.

What I do like is her black-and-white manicure, and her highlighted wavy locks.

Christian Louboutin ‘Paulina’ pumps and a Vince Camuto clutch provided the finishing touches.

As many of you hated her Michael Kors MTV Movie Awards look, is this better or worse?

Kerry Washington In Prabal Gurung - Late Show with David Letterman

Before taking to the red carpet at the 2013 Met Gala, Kerry Washington was spotted outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City prior to her guest appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’, where she promoted her hit TV show ‘Scandal’.

Opting for another look with an amethyst hue, the actress wore a Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013 dress.

Featuring a deep plunging neckline, a sheer skirt with a lily-printed panel, and a draped top accented with a studded leather belt, Kerry styled her look with white pumps and a matching white Smythson ‘Chameleon’ clutch.

Despite wishing she had posed for this look without the clutch, she continues to be Miss Consistent on the red carpet.

I’m never bored by her looks.

Kerry Washington In Vera Wang - 2013 Met Gala

Kerry Washington made a sterling effort to infuse some punk in her pretty look while taking to the red carpet for the 2013 Met Gala in New York on Monday.

The ‘Scandal’ actress wore a custom Vera Wang sleeveless V-neck lavender metallic floral print mermaid gown featuring a silk and lace flange detail within the train and chrysanthemum lace peplum accent.

What made this look punk?

I would say the sexy fishnet panel in the plunge, her black leather opera gloves, and the sexy cat-eye makeup.

Is Kerry selling punk to you here?

Kerry Washington In Wes Gordon - 2013 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner

Ever the fashion girl, Kerry Washington turned heads once again at the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner last night in Washington, D.C.

After her recent Michael Kors eyebrow-raiser, the ‘Scandal’ star stunned in this monochromatic, sweeping halter gown from Wes Gordon’s Fall 2013 outing, paired with Vhemier jewels and a Jil Milan clutch.

I was actually a bit surprised that she picked a dress from this ‘scandalous’ collection for the White House Dinner, as the young designer was said to have been inspired to create looks for a “girl who’s having an affair with one of the Rolling Stones.”

But even with the backless silhouette and the exploded lace-print layered skirt, Kerry managed to tame down the runway exit into a more politically correct look, removing the leather arm gloves (and the edgy, rock-star styling).

The actress really elevates this look from runway grunge to red-carpet refinement.

After pulling back her bangs during her last few appearances, Kerry returned to the full-on fringe, perhaps in honour of the FLOTUS.
