Keira Knightley first wore this stunning purple pleated Erdem Fall 2008, with a layered hem and rosette detail on the bust, when she attended a private party following the London premiere of The Edge Of Love at The Berkeley Hotel in London back in June.

She wore her amazing dress with black pumps.

New kid on the red carpet block, Lily Collins wore the same dress when she attended the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party, in LA back in September.

Lily’s dress sits better on her as it is higher up, but she does not quite own it like Keira does, so Keira wins for me.

Keira Knightley arrived at the screening of The Duchess wearing a black satin Chanel Fall 2008 Couture cocktail dress, which had a jewel embellished waist and shoulders. This dress really is the epitome of effortless elegance.

I love the dress on Keira, but I would have preferred her hair to have been loosely tied back.

Anna Wintour keeps it simple, but still looks fabulous in a white satin top and black satin skirt.

Bee Shaffer, like her mother Anna, does not wear Chanel, just because it is a Chanel event. The young socialite wore a white and coral strapless embroidered Oscar de la Renta Resort 2009 dress with blue Christian Louboutin Very Noeud slingbacks.

The dress cinches her at the waist, which give her a elegant uptown look.

The fierceness that is Coco Rocha, arrived wearing a grey chiffon Chanel Pre-Fall 2008 dress with ruffled sleeves and a ruffled hem with her YSL Trib Two Platform Pumps.

Katie Lee Joel wore a black silk sleeveless Chanel Fall 2008 dress with a contrast white panel bib at the front. This is a very feminine take on the classic tux, exudes modern evening glamour.

Designer Tory Burch opted for a black chiffon Chanel Fall 2008 asymmetric dress with brooch and ribbon detail.

She completed her look with YSL Tribute platform sandals. This dress is definitely a show-stopper.

British actress Keira Knightley arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York yesterday to promote her new movie, The Duchess.

The 23 year old pout was wearing 3.1 Philip Lim gold print dress from Lim’s Fall 2008 collection.

The dress has feminine ruffle at the breast and hip, and pleats whiskering out across fabric.

With a slim fitting silhouette and a fitted pencil skirt, you are bound to look very sleek in this sexy number.

This dress is available to purchase from Matches Fashion for only £410/€508.10/$722.61.

Keira Knightley took to the red carpet last night for the world premiere of The Duchess with co-stars Ralph Fiennes and Dominic Cooper.

She was wearing a stunning blue knee-length Alexis Mabille Fall 2008 Couture dress with lacy frilled neckline and hem. She wore Chanel jewelery, black Moschino pumps, and her hair was swept up in a simple chignon to complete her Hollywood star look.

Keira’s boyfriend Rupert Friend, was perfectly colour coordinated wearing a matching blue suit.

The list for Best Dressed Of The Week gets longer and longer.

Alexis Mabille showed his first collection at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week back in June, so it is great for him that someone like Keira is wearing one of his dresses.

For someone who disappeared off the radar for a while, British actress Keira Knightley is back with a bang, as she appears on 3 September 2008 magazine covers. Vogue US, Tatler UK and Glamour UK.

The biggest is obviously Vogue US, but this cover has come in for the most criticism.

Many fashion watchers have said - and I agree - that Keira’s hair is very messy, to the point were one wonders if a hairstylist was even on set.

Keira can normally pull off anything, but the Balenciaga ensemble she is wearing is also not working for me.

What I do love about all these covers is that Keira is not over pouting, which she usually does.

My favourite cover is the Tatler UK cover, were she is wearing a pink ruffled Prada dress.

Keira’s Vogue cover is not that great, but her editorial is amazing.

It has been a while since we saw Keira Knightley as a cover girl and here she is gracing the cover of UK Glamour September 2008 edition.

Keira Knightley says she’s finally comfortable with her figure despite being under constant scrutiny over her weight. She says she recently hired a personal trainer, who has helped her feel better about her appearance.

Here are some more extracts from her interview:

On her own style:“My style has changed because I didn’t have any style.”

On buying designer clothing: “I think as you get more well known, more designers lend you dresses. But you always give them back like Cinderella because you shouldn’t be buying them; £20,000 for one night?! As far as expensive stuff goes , I’m not good at shopping - I’m better at cheap stuff.”

On her friendships with other women: “I don’t think I’m very good at figuring out female friendships. I think they’re quite tricky to navigate. I have a lot of friends who are guys and I find that manipulation and jealousy don’t come into it as much, whereas those things can happen easily between women.”

On Sienna Miller: “I love Sienna. I think she is a wonderful actress. But we’ve been like two ships in the passing night recently. I think that’s what’s lovely but also sad about acting. You get incredibly close to people for that moment and as soon as it’s over you don’t see each other. You’re away from home, in this case Wales. It’s a very intense relationship for a while, and then it’s not anymore.”

On her first singing audition for the remake of My Fair Lady: “I told him [producer, Cameron Mackintosh] that [getting drunk] would be the only way I could sing in front of everyone.”

On her own insecurities: “At this particular time, I probably am more comfortable with myself. But I don’t believe anybody who says they don’t have any insecurities and moments of feeling completely crap about themselves. I don’t think it does anybody any good to pretend those moments don’t exist. But just now I’m having a lovely time.”
