Katy Perry In Versace – ‘Katy Perry: Part Of Me’ Sydney Premiere

Katy Perry hit the pink carpet in Australia on Saturday evening for the Sydney premiere of her docu-movie, ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D’.

The theme so far for this promo tour has been sleek and sexy, saving the whacky ensembles for performances only.

You can’t get more sleek and sexy than a Versace fitted bustier dress.

With dozens of gold bejewelled crucifixes – a nod to her Catholic beliefs, perhaps – covering her nude dress with a net overlay, she styled her look with silver Christian Louboutin ‘Just Picks’ ankle strap pumps.

Like the Givenchy sandals, these pumps became popular very fast. Just in the last week we have seen them also worn by Emma Stone and Olivia Munn.

A selection of silver jewels included a safety pin earring, kohl-rimmed eyes and a rose matte lip colour completed her fabulous look.

Katy Perry In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D’ LA Premiere

Katy Perry graced the pink carpet for the premiere of her docu-movie ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D’ at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre yesterday evening in Hollywood, California.

The singer looked fabulous wearing a signature Dolce & Gabbana strapless dress with a full skirt and sweetheart neckline.

Her red velvet strapless dress was styled with matching Dolce & Gabbana pumps. This is new, because it’s usually Katy’s hair that matches her dress.

Sparkly Tacori statement jewels and a charming Judith Leiber ‘Cake Slice’ crystal minaudière accessorized her look.

Gorgeous bouncy curls, dark eye makeup, a rich red lip colour and some interesting nail art completed Katy’s first premiere of this promo tour.

Katy also performed at the event. She delighted fans by making her entrance to the stage bursting out of a giant popcorn bag. Her appropriately themed dress included a film-reel bra and a red-and-white striped skirt with a popcorn accented hemline.

This is the Katy I know and love.

Katy Perry In Temperley London – Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Katy Perry was spotted making her way to the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ studios in Hollywood, California, yesterday to promo her docu-movie ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D’.

When Jimmy asked how she got her hair so purple, Katy said, “I squeeze the purple Teletubby all over my head [and] I go out [in the rain].”

Sporting sky-high Christian Louboutin black-platform slingbacks, the singer wore a Temperley London Fall 2012 dress.

Her purple hair almost blends into her dark floral-print frock with long sheer sleeves.

Katy appears to have taken a more sophisticated, grown-up approach to this promo tour, but I hope we see her fun side at the movie’s LA premiere later this evening.

Katy Perry In Erin by Erin Fetherston – ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ Press Conference

With the LA premiere for ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ taking place this week, Katy kick-started her promo tour with a press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on Friday.

She looked lovely wearing an Erin by Erin Fetherston dress – I think I’m finally immune to the purple hair.

The pretty pink ombre embroidered flutter sleeve dress with pink petal details is yet another great look for the singer.

Nude pumps and a pink colour to match the petals on her dress completed her look.

The LA premiere for this docu-movie takes place on June 26, with the London premiere following on July 3.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Emma Stone In Gucci & Katy Perry In Roland Mouret

Emma Stone took first and second place in the BDOTW poll following an impressive turnaround to the second week of her promo tour for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’.

Her Elie Saab jumpsuit took second place, with the stunning Gucci frock taking the top spot.

Emma’s Gucci look would’ve been my first choice had it not been for Katy Perry. It’s been a while since she made me melt, but her chic Roland Mouret look on Jay Leno was enough to make me forget all those crazy antics on the red carpet the past few months.

Whilst I don’t mind Katy’s ‘Crazy, Sexy, Cool’ approach to red carpet dressing on most occasions, she’s never more radiant than when she’s going the sophisticated route.

Katy Perry In Roland Mouret – Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Katy Perry can do quirky, crazy, sexy and cool when it comes to event dressing.

She went down the sexy route when donning this Roland Mouret Spring 2012 dress for her guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ yesterday evening to promote her new 3D documentary-concert movie, ‘Part of Me’.

Her navy blue dress with a ruffle detail cascading down the skirt and artful red tulip appliqués doesn’t have the midriff cut-out like the version which took to the runway, thankfully. It could’ve been a very different story.

I’m delighted she selected the more demure version.

It’s been a while since I’ve celebrated a Katy Perry look, and with the choice of sexy red ankle-strap platform peep-toes, she bags herself a spot on the BDOTW poll.
