2017 amfAR Gala Cannes Model Roundup

The models were out in force for the amfAR Gala Cannes on Thursday (May 25) during the Cannes Film Festival.

Elsa Hosk: Striking a pose with a distinct pink, pinup mood, this Ermanno Scervino Fall 2017 gown had all the hallmarks of boudoir dressing with the exposed corset and sheer lace—distracting black heels notwithstanding.

Bianca Balti: What’s this? A model not baring it all? Bianca went for a more conservative stance in a Dolce & Gabbana black gown that oozed of old Hollywood glamour when styled with finger waves, statement jewels, and Gianvito Rossi shoes.

Joan Smalls: Between the length, the ubiquitous slit, and the collar-style neck piece, I wasn’t quite sure what to make of this Elie Saab Spring 2017 Couture dress paired with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and gigantic hoop earrings. Hip-hop, tribal glam?

2017 Oscar Parties Model Roundup

More models were also spotted at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party and Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday (February 26). Here is a snapshot of looks they strutted out.

Karlie Kloss: While her Naeem Khan Fall 2017 gown stayed true to her minimalist red-carpet M.O., the sparkle of embellishment and a seductive thigh-high side slit brought it to life. She styled the look with a Roger Vivier Envelope Flowers clutch. I actually much preferred this look to her first.

Joan Smalls: I would argue that the enticing, dark sapphire hue and the precision-cut sharpness of this Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 top and skirt didn’t need the multi-hued choker or the magenta eye makeup.

Jasmine Tookes: With a sexy spin on a classic, one-shoulder gown, the model wore a black Thai Nguyen Atelier Fall/Winter 2017 sheer gown dripping in fringed embellishment and styled with Stuart Weitzman ‘Goforth’ sandals.

VIBES By Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017 Launch Festival

After the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch in New York City, the SI stunners were out again for the VIBES by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017 Launch Festival on Friday (February 17) in Houston, Texas.

Ashley Graham: Plush velvet met peek-a-boo lines with this vibrant blue Tracy Reese body-con dress. With her bronzed pins, the Stuart Weitzman sandals were a far cry from nude, leaving me to question why wasn’t another pair of non-ankle strap shoes selected to lengthen the leg line.

Kate Upton: Speaking of legs, Kate let hers do the talking in this strapless LBD by Jonathan Simkhai that was deceptively minimal save for a few rows of tonal fringe and that thigh-high slit up the left side. I do love how she layered in a sense of old Hollywood glamour with the finger waves of her updo.

Chrissy Teigen: Between the bronzer, the wide buckle belt, and the button-accented Self-Portrait khaki skirt—not to mention the lace underskirt—there was a lot going on here. So, I’m glad she downplayed the styling with just a sleek bun, simple Stuart Weitzman sandals, and a matching Jimmy Choo clutch.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017 NYC Launch Event

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017 launch event was held on Thursday (February 16) in New York City, and as you might imagine, there was an A-team of models in attendance.

Chrissy Teigen: Bringing another version of the boudoir robe aesthetic, Chrissy’s Dries van Noten design featured an Asian-inspired floral motif. Lace tights and lace-up over-the-knee boots took the look into OTT territory though.

Ashley Graham: The beautiful lines of her curve-hugging Mestiza New York dress were elevated by its shimmering embossed texture and styling that included Wendy Yue jewels and Gianvito Rossi sandals—plus a lighthearted ponytail to finish.

Kate Upton: Who knew Versace would have delivered one of the more demure looks of the night? I did love the multi-hued hemline of the mini-dress, topped off with the sultry structure of a black blazer.

The PEOPLE Magazine Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The PEOPLE Magazine Awards

Here is a roundup of the other attendees who took to the red carpet for the PEOPLE Magazine Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (December 18) in Beverly Hills, California.

Jennifer Aniston: Still not able to fully break away from her favourite colour black, the actress collected her ‘Movie Performance of the Year’ award for ‘Horrible Bosses 2’ wearing a black and white fit-and-flare Fausto Puglisi Spring 2015 dress. The silhouette may be different, but why does everything feel the same?

Karlie Kloss: The catwalker took home the ‘Model of the Year’ award looking very beautiful and statuesque wearing a sexy Zac Posen bustier and laser-cut pony-skin Marchesa skirt styled with sexy Giuseppe Zanotti Design criss-cross strap sandals and a signature Marchesa clutch.

Kate Upton: The model picked up ‘PEOPLE’s Sexist Woman’ award wearing an all-black all-leather look, selecting a Tamara Mellon bodysuit and a Thomas Wylde ‘Topsy Turvy’ skirt styled with Brian Atwood satin ‘Besame’ pumps and a vintage corseted belt from The Way We Wore. While my mind boggles at how uncomfortable a leather bodysuit must be, this isn’t such a bad look for Kate.
