Kate Bosworth In Giamba – 2015 Crackle Upfront

Kate Bosworth In Giamba - 2015 Crackle Upfront

Fresh from Coachella Music Festival, Kate Bosworth attended the 2015 Crackle Upfront at Hudson Theatre on Tuesday (April 14) in New York City.

The actress wore a look from the Giamba Pre-Fall 2015 collection, which sees her adopt a more playful look for a refreshing change.

Crafted in a classic skater style, its bright colouration instantly adds sartorial impact. I especially love how it complements the backdrop.

An orange lip is a tricky colour to pull off, but in this case it heightens the appeal of the look.

The shoes are a bit non-eventful, yet they are pretty cute addition.

Get The Look: Kate Bosworth’s Part Braided Part Bun Coachella Hair Style

unnamed

Bridget Brager worked with Kate Bosworth for the 2015 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

“The inspiration for Kate’s festival hair was a nod to the 90’s half up half down, grunge chic, slept in hair with a twist (or a braid!).” said Bridget.

Bridget explains how to recreate this look.

“Starting on second day dry hair, take a small section (no larger than the width of the tip of your ring finger) of hair where you would normally have a centre part. This section should end at the crown of your head, just before your head starts to curve.

Once this section is created, begin to make a cornrow braid towards your forehead. Finish the braid where your hairline stops on your forehead and make two sections by splitting the third strand of the braid. To secure the braid, use a small bobby pin. Push the pin up the middle of the braid as flat to the head as possible. Split the lengths of the hair around the face to create framing.

Next, sprinkle Kevin Murphy Powder Puff to lengths of hair for added texture. Then gather hair, starting from the top of the ears, back in to a half up half down knot. Secure with a clear elastic band. Let any pieces around the face fall down to tuck behind the ears.

Finish the look using Bumble and bumble Does It All Hairspray.”

Kate Bosworth’s 2015 Coachella Music Festival Style

Kate Bosworth's 2015 Coachella Style

Kate Bosworth has long been the queen of Coachella, leading the way when it comes to boho dressing, but for this years festival I felt like she has evolved, passed the denim shorts and fringe hobo bags to a style that had more finesse and more polish.

Some might argue that isn’t what Coachella is about, but I’m totally enamoured by both looks.

Coach Backstage Party: Wearing all white save for her tan sandals, I like how her lace up white Equipment ‘Knox’ shirt gives a slight ’70s folklore vibe to her modern look.

The Empire Polo Club: This was my favourite look of the two, as I love the styling of her white Kempner ‘Barbell’ T-Shirt dress with the Navajo inspired Etro jacket, self-designed western-inspired studded boots and Coach ‘Rivets Dakotah’ bag from the previous look.

In interviews, Kate claims that her Coachella looks were thrown together last minute, but I think it’s clear a lot of time, effort and planning went into these looks. Not that that’s a bad thing.

Kate Bosworth In Prabal Gurung - Samsung Celebrates Launch Of Galaxy S 6 And Galaxy S 6 Edge

Kate Bosworth attended at Samsung celebrates the launch of Galaxy S 6 and Galaxy S 6 edge, at Quixote Studios on Thursday (April 2) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2015 frock, with floral embroidery which upholds a girlish flair with its pouf skirt and playful character, while still maintaining a ladylike overture.

While the black pumps work very well with the look, adding an air of sophistication, I wish she’d considered the embroidery on her dress and opted for a baby-blue pair.

Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco Mid-Winter Gala

Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco Mid-Winter Gala

Kate Mara, Kate Bosworth and Suki Waterhouse attended the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco Mid-Winter Gala, presented by Dior on Friday (March 27) in San Francisco, California.

Kate Mara: The ‘House of Cards’ actress wore a Dior Fall 2013 Couture strapless dress with intricate embroidery. This look was my favourite of the bunch for both its colours, flair and lady-like style. Kate’s mantra has always been less is more, so she just accessorized with a Dior clutch and Dior Fine Jewellery.

Kate Bosworth: I don’t know why, but this red and white Dior Spring 2014 Couture strapless dress didn’t quite work for me on Kate. I don’t think the style of dress is doing anything for her, plus I really dislike her hairstyle here. It feels too casual for the gown. A glossy red lip and white Dior clutch completed the look.

Suki Waterhouse: The model was showcasing her credentials working a black Dior tiered gown graced with feminine allure. The look was simply styled, with a Dior bracelet and wavy tresses. I know many of you are not fans of her style, so how does this look fair?
