Eva Longoria In Georges Hobeika Couture – Unite4:humanity

Eva Longoria In Georges Hobeika Couture - unite4humianity

Eva Longoria added a powerful hit of colour to the last night’s unite4:humanity at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, California.

Piling on the glamour, Eva wore a Georges Hobeika Couture figure-hugging pink dress with embellished funnel neck and hem which perfectly showed off her amazing figure.

With her hair back-combed and slicked back and dark nail polish to complement Eva’s dramatic eye make-up, this was a seriously full-on look.

While I love her daring approach to colour and confidence in mixing colours with a pair of red Christian Louboutin pumps, there is just too much going on with this look, especially for such a petite frame.

Eva looked radiant the previous night in an ivory Philosophy ensemble and I much prefer her less-is-more approach. Do you agree, or do you prefer her more stand-out look?

Eva Longoria In Philosophy – Q&A With His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama

Eva Longoria In Philosophy - Q&A With His Holiness the 14th Dalai LamaEva Longoria was also at the Q&A with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, where she joined Camilla Belle at the California Science Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday (February 26).

Whereas Camilla went for an all-black look, Eva did the exact opposite, channeling the lighter side with a creamy ivory Philosophy ensemble.

The structured bodice served as a contrast to the more gossamer tone of the sheer pleated skirt, providing a sophisticated mix of power-dressing and prettiness.

Reminding us that white pumps are still having their day in the sun, she worked her pair to this monochromatic look’s advantage.

With only minimal jewelry, a glossy nude lip and a sleek ponytail finished out the straightforward yet effective statement.

Eva Longoria In Zuhair Murad – Global Gift Gala Mexico

Eva Longoria In Zuhair Murad - Global Gift Gala Mexico

Eva Longoria attended the Global Gift Gala Mexico held at the St Regis Hotel on Thursday (January 30) in Mexico City, Mexico.

She wore a Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 gown featuring a decadent black silk top and white contoured skirt which flowed out into a chiffon train.

The high neckline, lace accents and embellishments are just some of the noteworthy nuances I find captivating about this look.

As you know, I only usually favour Eva’s red carpet looks when she attends Cannes Film Festival, but I love the elegance of this look, which is well styled.

Working a bouffant half-up, half-down ‘do not only shows off the embellished neckline but it also gives the petite star some height.

Are you as enamoured by this look as I am, or is it same old same old Eva for you?

Eva Longoria In Versace Collection – 2013 Person of the Year honoring Miguel Bose

Eva Longoria In Versace Collection - 2013 Person of the Year honoring Miguel Bose

Following her Global Gift Gala in London this week, Eva Longoria headed to Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2013 Person of the Year honoring Miguel Bose held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Working a figure-flattering Versace Collection dress, the actress styled her draped one-shoulder white gown with yellow-and-black detailing at the neckline with gold accessories including a Cartier bracelet and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

As you know, I’m only really a fan of Eva’s style when she’s working the red carpet at Cannes, but this week she’s surprised me by presenting two gowns in a row that I actually like. And it’s not just the dresses I like, but the styling too.

Eva Longoria In Victoria Beckham – London Global Gift Gala

Eva Longoria In Victoria Beckham - London Global Gift Gala

Eva Longoria hosted her annual Global Gift Gala at the ME Hotel in London yesterday evening.

If you are following Victoria Beckham on Twitter you would’ve seen her fitting Eva for this dress a few days ago.

Eva’s black Victoria Beckham gown with a racer-front design incorporates the lingerie-inspired straps we saw presented in VB’s Spring 2013 collection.

While they work as part of a sassy cocktail dress, I’m not sure they really work for me on the gown.

Do they work for you?

Either way, with the silhouette and the simple styling of this look, this is the best Eva has looked in a long while.

Canon’s Project Imaginat10n Film Festival

Canon's Project Imaginat10n Film Festival

Canon’s Project Imaginat10n Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall in New York City was something of a Marchesa fest yesterday evening.

Georgina Chapman: Led by the designer herself, Georgina wore a black Fall 2013 fitted column-style Marchesa tulle cocktail dress with all-over floral embroidery and draped off-shoulder sleeves styled with signature accessories: Christian Louboutin pumps and a Marchesa quartz-clasp clutch. A half-up half-down hairdo perfected this romantic look.

Eva Longoria: As always, I gave a big sigh before writing out a critique for Eva Longoria. What she gives via her lush Marchesa raspberry strapless cocktail dress with 3D silk ribbon roses and bugle-bead twine embroidery along the neckline, she takes away with the oversized floral-print Marchesa envelope clutch.

Dree Hemingway: The model had no such issue, looking heavenly wearing a pale-blue slip dress with asymmetrical organza ruffles with a pale-blue organza collared tee shirt overlay. Opting to go matchy-matchy with the Marchesa clutch and glitter sandals, she added a vampy rouge lip colour to her stunning look.

Abigail Spencer: Rounding out a quartet of dames in Marchesa cocktail dresses, the ‘Suits’ actress wore a red strapless fitted frock with tonal French-knot and chenille threadwork embroidery, which she also styled with a Marchesa clutch, and white pumps to ensure the trend doesn’t die.

I do love each of the looks; it’s such a shame Eva’s styling let the side down, but 3 out of 4 ain’t bad.

Eva Longoria In Elie Saab – Eva Longoria Foundation Dinner

Eva Longoria In Elie Saab - Eva Longoria Foundation Dinner

After donning eight looks for the 2013 NCLA ALMA Awards on Friday evening, Eva Longoria opted for just the one look while hosting a charity dinner for her foundation at her restaurant Beso in Hollywood, California on Saturday evening.

The actress turned to Elie Saab again, selecting a pink long-sleeved dress with sheer panels from his Spring 2013 collection.

Nude Christian Louboutin ankle-strap pumps and diamond-and-gold Martin Katz jewels accessorized the look, with Eva joining Sarah Hyland and Sandra Bullock in lightening her brunette locks.

While I like the colour on Eva, I’m not a fan of the dress itself as it feels too revealing and suggestive for a charity event.
