Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Nickelodeon's 28th Annual Kids' Choice Awards - Show

Emma Stone accepted the ‘Favourite Movie Actress’ award for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ onstage during 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, held at The Forum on Saturday (March 28) in Inglewood, California, in bullish fashion.

The actress wore a Louis Vuitton Fall 2015 rock chick look I was expecting to see worn by Kate Moss, Chloe Sevigny or Jennifer Connelly.

I can’t say it’s my favourite look for Emma, as for me it feels a tad out of sync with her style, but the look is perfect for a fun night out at the Kids Choice Awards.

Which Was Your Favourite Emma Stone Awards Season Look?

Which Was Your Favourite Emma Stone Awards Season Look

Emma Stone was very much your favourite red carpet star for the 2015 awards season, picking up the best dressed at every single event.

The ‘Birdman’ actress kicked off her season shunning the expected gown for a more sleek Lanvin jumpsuit at the Golden Globes before working a Dior Couture suiting option at the SAG Awards, which many saw as a risk that paid off.

Balancing sweet and sultry at the Film Independent Spirit Awards, the actress was one of many who opted for an LBD.

Emma took our breath away in Elie Saab Couture on Oscar night, while channelling vintage glamour in a Altuzzara fresh-off-the-runway frock for the Oscar party.

The Elie Saab gown is such the obvious choice, but it was by far my favourite from an impeccable run. Between the colour and embellishments, I was totally swept away by the majestic nature of the look.

Get The Look: Emma Stone’s Coral Spring Oscars Beauty Look

Emma StoneWhether it was her beaded chartreuse Elie Saab gown or her soft coral beauty look, Emma Stone was certainly bringing some spring cheer to Sunday’s Oscars red carpet. Celebrity Makeup Artist Rachel Goodwin created a look that was built around a complementary coral hue that played on the soft green tone of Emma’s dress.

“I really wanted to let the color speak, but with a fun, unexpected twist, so I chose a beautiful, peachy-coral lip to complement it,” says Rachel, “her look is soft and ethereal, with the total feeling of spring.”

Here’s how Rachel created this spring coral look:

Like all good looks, beginning with clean fresh skin is a must. To ensure a smooth, flawless base, Rachel prepped Emma’s skin with Chanel Hyrda Beauty Micro Sérum and followed with Revlon PhotoReady Prime + Anti Shine Balm. Rachel then blended Chanel Perfection Lumière Long-Wear Flawless Fluid Sunscreen Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF15 in 10 Beige onto the skin.

To get that soft coral flush along the cheeks, Rachel applied Chanel Powder Blush in Angelique to the apples of Emma’s cheeks and softly blended it outwards.

This look was all about light playful eyes. Using a blend of tones from the Chanel Limited Edition Lumières Facettes Quadra Eye Shadow, Emma’s eyes were subtly highlighted and shaped. Rachel then lined the eyes with Chanel Écriture de Chanel Eyeliner Pen in Brun. Finally, Emma’s eyes were beautifully framed by a generous coating Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume Mascara in Black on her lashes.

For that poppy coral lip, Rachel began by defining the lips with Chanel Precision Lip Definer in Rouge Candy. She then layered REVLON Ultra HD Lipstick in HD Tulip over the liner which gave the lips the perfect spring coral shade.

Emma Stone In Altuzarra – 2015 Vanity Fair Party

Emma Stone In Altuzarra - 2015 Vanity Fair Party

Emma Stone attended the 2015 Vanity Fair Party, hosted at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

Looking to another era for inspiration, the actress channeled vintage glamour in a plunging red, pleated gown with deco-inspired sequined embroidery from the Altuzarra Fall 2015 collection.

The dropped-waist, above-the-ankle silhouette had the spirited influence of flapper styling.

I’m not a huge fan of the lace, scarf-like detail, as it feels like a mere afterthought here, although it saves the neckline from verging on too bare.

She styled the retro-facing look with black Christian Louboutin ‘Just On’ sandals and the same wavy ‘do from earlier in the evening.

With plenty of love and also loathing directed towards her chartreuse Oscars gown, how does her ruby-red dress rate?

Emma Stone In Elie Saab Couture – 2015 Oscars

Emma Stone in Elie Saab Couture 2015 oscars

Emma Stone hit the red carpet of the 2015 Oscars at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday (February 22).

The Best Supporting Actress wore a custom long-sleeved Elie Saab Couture gown with illusion detailing, an open-back and chartreuse beading.

Christian Louboutin ‘Gardnera’ sandals in the same unique shade are the perfect complement to the gown.

Emma loves risks on the red carpet, and while this gown doesn’t belong deep in the risk category, it is a unique color that perhaps some stars would shy away from, but she wears is flawlessly.

Her wavy bob pulled to one side and deeply pigmented coral matte lips are also perhaps slightly unexpected for a complete look that is a delightfully fun turn on the red carpet.
