Dakota Fanning In Lanvin – 2012 Tribeca Film Festival Vanity Fair Party

Dakota Fanning hit the red carpet for the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival Vanity Fair Party in New York City to celebrate the opening of the festival which runs from April 18 through to April 29.

The young actress wore a Lanvin Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

Her vibrant fuchsia pink frock is pretty, fun and youthful, but her tan Lanvin pumps are a tad conservative for the look.

Also I don’t get what’s going on north of her eyebrows. What is that thing on her head?

We asked her to do something new with her hair, not her head.

A gold clutch and copper eyeshadow completed her look.

Whilst I like this look, I’m baffled by the shoe choice and the headband, plus I think I miss the belt.

Dakota Fanning In Elie Saab – Elie Saab Private Dinner Party

Dakota Fanning joined Emily Blunt at the Crown in New York City last night, for the private dinner party honouring Mr Elie Saab.

The young actress also opted of a very sophisticated Elie Saab look.

Her Pre-Fall 2012 peplum dress with a lace panel was teamed with interesting accessories.

Prada jewel-toe ‘Flame’ sandals and a Prada red poppy clutch completed the look.

One day Dakota is going to wear her hair in a ponytail or an updo and it will become breaking news…stay tuned…but please don’t hold your breath.

Dakota Fanning In Vintage Halston – 2012 GLAAD Media Awards

Dakota Fanning stepped out at the 2012 GLAAD Media Awards, which were held on Saturday night in New York City.

The young star wore a vintage Halston cream wrap v-neck halter dress with gold beaded embroidery.

Dakota teamed her stylish dress with Fred Leighton jewels, a Ferragamo gold box clutch and Manolo Blahnik metallic-gold criss-cross sandals.

Her signature simple, straight hairstyle and natural looking makeup completed the look.

Whilst her dress was refreshing and mature, the hair and makeup are all too familiar.

I would love her to shake things up just once.

Datoka Fanning In Miu Miu – Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Men And Women Of 2012

Dakota Fanning joined Rose Byrne on the red carpet at Cosmopolitan’s Fun Fearless Men and Women Of 2012 in New York City last night.

She wore a Miu Miu Spring 2012 look.

The actress arrived wearing a red stole over her pearl blue top and skirt.

Once inside she removed the stole and for the first time since this collection was presented, I actually realised how much it added to the overall look.

On the red carpet her look felt plain in comparison.

An embellished Miu Miu clutch, a black headband and Prada nude patent Mary Janes accessorized her look.

Black wing-tip eyeliner and a light pink lip colour provided the finishing touches.

Dakota Fanning @ Fall 2012 New York Fashion Week

Dakota Fanning took in three shows during New York Fashion Week.

First up was Marc Jacobs on Monday night, then Rodarte on Valentine’s Day and Proenza Schouler on Wednesday.

At Rodarte she donned a colourful ensemble from the designer’s Spring 2012 collection.

She teamed gold pants with a bi-colour wrap top with peeked shoulders and embellished peep-toes.

Front Row @ Marc Jacobs Fall 2012

Rose Byrne: The actress was the last to arrive for the Marc Jacobs presentation which took place during New York Fashion Week. The photogs managed to snap this picture before she was rushed to her front-row seat. She wore a gingham cropped-sleeve coat from the Spring 2012 collection with Mary Janes and a yellow fringed clutch from the same collection.

Dakota Fanning: It wasn’t a surprise to see the actress front row at the Marc Jacobs show earlier this week. She wore a shimmering Marc Jacobs Spring 2012 eyelet dress with a beaded tiered chiffon-accented hemline. A blue Marc Jacobs clutch with clear fringed details and Mary Janes completed her look.

Maria Sharapova: The tennis champ was the surprising attendee of the Marc Jacobs presentation. She wore an ice-blue tulle Marc Jacobs dress with velvet strips. The clutch and the shoes are so out of whack with the dress.
