Camilla Bella in Ralph Lauren - CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Event

Camilla Belle was also among the pretty, bright young things at the 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event, presented by theCorner.com, at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday afternoon.

The actress certainly captured attention in her bold, lime-green Ralph Lauren skater frock that was quite delightful.

She paired the dress with a contrasting aqua Rebecca Minkoff ‘Coco’ clutch and several rows of bangles.

Her choppy bob added a youthful, casual vibe. Not so for those uninspiring, plain pumps. I cannot help but wonder if different shoes and a more done ‘do would have further polished the look.

Do you like her statement or is the styling a letdown?

Many more stars sashayed into the it-list lineup at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Inaugural Gala, hosted on Thursday at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills, California, all donning the designer of the evening, Salvatore Ferragamo.

Camilla Belle: The actress complemented her bronzed glow with a plunging, tiered gown with a crisscross back in an arresting shade of blush-nude. Diamond jewels, a golden clutch and a severely slicked-back ‘do completed her ensemble.

Abbie Cornish: Opting for a glam, cerulean-blue dress, accented with a jewel brooch at the halter neckline and a studded belt, the Aussie star kept her accessories on the simple side with a basic box clutch, a dainty earring, and sideswept retro waves.

Freida Pinto: Also working a blushing nude hue, Freida glittered in her embellished halter confection. To highlight the T-back detail of the dress, she piled her dark locks into an updo and kept her jewels to a minimum. After all, the dress had enough dazzle.

CH Carolina Herrera & Vanity Fair Party

CH Carolina Herrera, Vanity Fair, Amy Adams and Carolina Herrera hosted a cocktail reception to celebrate the opening of the CH Carolina Herrera Boutique on Rodeo Drive in aid of Stuart House.

Amy Adams: The actress, who has been on tour promoting her latest movie ‘Man of Steel’, opted for a classic CH Carolina Herrera look, wearing a sleeveless ivory silk ruffled blouse with a black peplum skirt. Her on-trend look, which was void of any colour other than black and white, was styled with black ankle-strap pumps.

Camilla Belle: There was a time when Camilla Belle was a red carpet regular, but she has been M.I.A. for a while. She made a welcome return to this event, wearing a navy-and-white embroidered blouse which she paired with a navy lace skirt accented with a patent-leather belt. Unlike Amy, who kept her look strictly black and white, Camilla added a kick to her look with coral Christian Louboutin peep-toes.

Naya Rivera: I found myself a tad disappointed with Naya’s effort. This is mostly because her navy-and-white polka-dot silk blouse and matching drawstring pants aren’t as colourful as I would’ve expected from her, plus the pants are way too long. Norman Silverman earrings completed her look.

Camilla Belle In Carolina Herrera - 2013 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala

Camilla Belle looked breath-taking when she took to the red carpet at the 2nd Street Tunnel in California last night for the 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala.

Dressed in a dot print organza gown from Carolina Herrera’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection, the actress was most definitely the belle of the ball.

Her off-the-shoulder bustier-style gown with an asymmetrical tiered skirt was styled with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and a navy Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch.

A simple updo and flawless makeup completed this stunning look.

You may remember that she also wowed at this event last year wearing the same designer. The Bella/Herrera combination is proving to be more fruitful than Munn/Herrera.

W Magazine Golden Globe Party

Here are the rest of the looks from W Magazine’s celebration of the Golden Globes, held at the Chateau Marmont in California last night. It appears the dress code for the evening was wear something blue or gold.

Jennifer Lawrence: Feeling like our prayers have finally been answered, the ‘Silver Lining Playbook’ actress wore her second non-black look in a row. Looking more like the fresh-faced bubbly young actress we fell in love with this time last year, she wore an ocean-blue Victoria Beckham fitted dress with slash details on the shoulders. Opting for conservative accessories she carried a gold clutch wore black peep-toes heels and added Sylva & Cie jewels.

Frieda Pinto: The Indian beauty also opted for a striking oceanic colour wearing a blue sleeveless Missoni dress with a flared skirt and brocade panels. Her Roger Vivier black satin peep-toes with an turquoise feather accents managed to upstage her gorgeous dress.

Kerry Washington: Fresh off her successful ‘Django Unchained’ promo tour, Kerry didn’t slouch in the style stakes upon her return to LA. Dressed in a printed Stella McCartney jumpsuit the look was styled with bright-blue pieces including a Reed Krakoff blazer and an electric-blue Roger Vivier clutch.

Jena Malone: With a big-budget movie to promote this year, Jena kick started her year wearing a fanciful printed frock from the Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2013 collection. Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Orner’ black suede strappy sandals and a gold clutch accessorized her look, with a hot-pink lip colour and cat-eyes providing the finishing touches.
