Amy Adams In Elie Saab - 'American Hustle' New York Screening 2

Amy Adams brought her A game, as expected, to the ‘American Hustle’ screening held at Ziegfeld Theater in New York City on Sunday evening.

Giving us our third Elie Saab lace-accented gown of the evening – following Nina Dobrev and Anna Kendrick – Amy’s black gown was selected from the Spring 2014 collection.

Her high-neck, open-back, sleeveless frock was styled with Neil Lane jewels and Christian Louboutin heels, with a black hairband keeping her glossy locks behind her shoulders.
Should she have worn her hair up?

Amy Adams In Altuzarra - 'American Hustle' Screening After Party

Amy Adams attended the ‘American Hustle’ screening after party held at Monkey Bar in New York City on Friday evening.

Keeping it simple and sexy in all black, the actress wore an Altuzarra ‘Elsa’ dress featuring a lace trim from the Resort 2014 collection which is cut close to the body to create an alluring silhouette.

Mesh-and-suede black Casadei ‘Rodio Stellix’ pumps, a bouffant hairdo and neutral makeup completed the look.

Amy Adams In David Koma - 'American Hustle' LA Premiere

Amy Adams attended the LA screening of ‘American Hustle’ held at Directors Guild Theater in West Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

I am sure you have all noticed a slight shift style-wise as Amy has been experimenting with her look more, but on this occasion it’s a no from me.

Her David Koma Spring 2014 dress with the black-and-white bodice and white skirt was working for me until I got to the sheer hem.

The sheer trend isn’t going to go away any time soon, so while I tried to embrace it here, I think it brings down the look. Possibly a solid white skirt would’ve looked better here.

I’m really disappointed because everything else – from the hair to the intense eyes and bejewelled Christian Louboutin ‘Body Strass’ pumps – is on point with this look.

Amy Adams In Diane von Furstenberg - 'American Hustle' LA Screening

Amy Adams attended the PANDORA Jewelry and Moto X presentation of her latest movie, ‘American Hustle’, held at cinema prive in West Hollywood, California on Saturday evening alongside Elisabeth Rohm and co-star Bradley Cooper.

Dressed in black and white, Amy wore a Diane von Furstenberg Spring 2014 strapless diamond-print dress featuring a central exposed zipper, gold stud detailing, plus a contrast print at the neckline, waist and on the flap pockets.

I love this sexier, more youthful look for Amy. Sometimes I think we pigeonhole her into being ‘Miss Ladylike’, so it’s nice to see her working something different.

Makeup-wise she kept the look fresh and clean, completing her look with drop earrings and taupe Louboutin pumps.

Amy Adams In Vivienne Westwood - Governors Awards 2013

Amy Adams appeared to break the white, black or black-and-white dress code while attended the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Governors Awards held at the Grand Ballroom of the Hollywood and Highland Center in LA yesterday evening.

The Oscar-nominated actress wore a Vivienne Westwood strapless corseted gown for the grand occasion.

Rendering a romantic persona, the floor-length frock in striking grape-hue benefits from minimalist styling including a Edie Parker clutch in a creamy, pearlescent-hue and Irene Neuwirth rose-gold earrings which add a dose of flawless feminine fancy.
