Julianna Margulies attended the 2010 Miscast event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City this week.

The actress opted for a look from L’Wren Scott’s Fall 2010 collection.

The look consisted of a light grey wool shift dress, paired with a grey & silver sequins cardigan and grey lace ruffle scarf.

I do love this look mostly because Julianna wears a lot of black and this is very refreshing for me.

I’m on the fence about the lace ruffle scarf.

It feels a bit unnecessary, but without it this look may have been very plain as the scarf adds a bit of texture.

Her look is teamed with a pair of Jimmy Choo Keenan sandals .

I’ve often wondered why celebs don’t wear Vera Wang on the red carpet.

She makes wearable stylish pieces, but I guess celebs just needed to be formally introduced to her work. Hence Ms Wang throwing a store launch party in LA last night.

Renee Zellweger put her best Jimmy Choo clad foot forward wearing a burgundy ruched strapless Vera Wang Fall 2010 top paired with a black pencil skirt.

For once I don’t feel a sense of de ja vu when looking at Renee.

I love this look, but did she have to wear so many gold rings.

It’s very BA Baracus from the A Team to wear that many gold rings.

Ginnifer Goodwin gives us a rare smile at “The Stylist Project” Exhibition in LA last night.

What’s not rare is a cute look from the “Big Love” actress.

The sun it out here in London, which puts me in the mood for a cute summery floaty dress with bare legs and strappy sandals.

I love the floral prints mixed with the purple lace on her Christian Dior Spring 2010 dress.

With her cute pixie cut she paired her look with a bejeweled Dior clutch and black ankle strap heels.

BDOTW suddenly just became very busy.

Yesterday evening I received a tweet from Kristen saying “Is Carla Bruni wearing the same RM dress that you wore to the BAFTAs?”.

After clicking the link I saw the beautiful Carla Bruni-Sarkozy was wearing the exact same teal green RM by Roland Mouret Fall 2009 gown I had worn to the BAFTAs just last week.

The First Lady of France wore her gown to welcome Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his wife Svetlana to a state dinner held in their honour at Elysee Palace in Paris.

Carla’s hair was styled into a loose updo which got me thinking that she’s quite clearly taking style tips from me. j/k *winks*

Her look was paired with blue satin Christian Louboutin kitten heels, so she was very much representing French designers last night.

Who knew the First Lady of France and I share the same taste in clothes.

We don’t share the same taste in footwear though. I would never wear kitten heels. *shudders at the thought*

I forgot to say previously that Amber Valletta was the first to wear this gown.

It’s been a while since we saw Keira Knightley walking a red carpet, but she did earlier on today at “The Laurence Olivier Awards Nominees Luncheon Party” in London.

She was at the party as she’s nominated for ‘Best Actress in a Supporting Role’ for her part in “The Misanthrope”.

As always the mucky UK press are focusing on the print of naked ladies on her Miu Miu Spring 2010 shirt.

But I’m more interested in how well put together our English Rose is.

I love the nude colour shirt with a red collar which she paired with the puppy dog print black skirt. It’s a non-safe choice but Keira pulls it off.

Her look is paired with Miu Miu black satin black platform heels.

She maybe head-to-toe in Miu Miu, but she showed her continued loyalty to Chanel by carrying a quilted Chanel bag.

“Lost” actress Emilie de Ravin walked the red carpet last night at the New York premiere of “Remember Me”.

No doubt all eyes were on her co-star in this movie Robert Pattinson, but I was more interested in her Gianfranco Ferré Spring 2010 dress.

The cream asymmetrical dress is also draped and knotted, but doesn’t feel to busy.

I love the dress, not so crazy about her Burberry Prorsum’s twisted band platform sandals as I wish they were slightly lighter in colour.

Maybe these particular heels were worn to complement the twisted detail on the skirt of her dress, but I would’ve picked a strappy sandal that didn’t look so heavy.

It’s been a while since Emilie looked this good on the red carpet, but is it enough for you to consider her for BDOTW?

Ashley Greene had a busy time in Milan seated at the front row of Giorgio Armani, Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana.

Without many A Listers in Milan, it was very much Ashley’s chance to shine.

I first spotted her at the Giorgio Armani Fall 2010 presentation.

With her hair loosely pulled back the “Twilight” actress wore a purple and pink strapped Giorgio Armani Resort 2010 loose fitting dress.

I loved her pink accessories with this look.

At Gucci she also opted for a Resort 2010 dress, which she paired with a Gucci bamboo handle bag.

Her front row look at Dolce & Gabbana was my least favourite.

I don’t think the long sleeve floral print chiffon dress suited her, especially paired with those Dolce & Gabbana lace mesh peep toe booties.

The other sophisticated looks suited her style better imo.

Which look do you favour?
