'Man of Steel' Photocall - Taormina Filmfest 2013

Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Russell Crowe attended the ‘Man of Steel’ photocall during the Taormina Filmfest 2013 held at Hotel Timeo in Taormina, Italy on Saturday.

Henry Cavill: Many of you haven’t been too keen on the actor’s Tom Ford suits, commenting on the fit and tie specifically. Here he sports a more casual, relaxed look consisting of a crisp white linen shirt and cream pants, which couldn’t be more perfect for the glorious location.

Amy Adams: The actress has been on quite a roll for the promo tour even though it just started. On this occasion she kept her look simple and chic wearing a Michael Kors zip-front multi-strap dress styled with subtle jewels and punchy Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ coral patent leather pumps.

Russell Crowe: The Australian actor sported the most laid-back look wearing a Polo Ralph Lauren top and grey slacks.

Kevin McHale In Topman - Monte Carlo TV Festival

Kevin McHale is currently in Monaco, solely promoting ‘Glee’ during the 2013 Monte Carlo TV Festival, where he has been wearing Topman exclusively.

Dick Wolf NBC Party: On Tuesday evening Kevin looked mighty handsome wearing a Topman grey-flecked slim-fit suit, which he styled with a white pocket square and a Paulo Succar black-and-white floral shirt that really brought the look alive. A plain white shirt would’ve been so run of the mill.

‘Glee’ Photocall: The following day, he decided to embrace the warm weather by wearing a Topman navy-flecked short suit, this time opting for a simple white shirt to add some formality to the look.

Which look leaves you full of glee?

'Man of Steel' London Premiere Menswear Round Up

The male stars of ‘Man of Steel’ joined Amy Adams and Antje Traue on the red carpet this evening at the Odeon Leicester Square for the London premiere.

Henry Cavill: The British actor opted to wear yet another Tom Ford suit, this time donning a midnight-blue Prince of Wales check three-piece suit styled with a matching tie and white dress shirt. Many of you were able to see beyond his dashing good looks to notice that his previous look didn’t fit perfectly. While I wouldn’t class this as perfect, I think the overall look is much improved.

Michael Shannon: The actor wore a white pocket square from The Tie Bar with his Thomas Pink grey Prince of Wales ‘Weatherly’ suit, which was styled with a white shirt and cufflinks by the same brand. Due to the pant length and shape of his Allen Edmond loafers, we can see Michael’s colourful purple socks by Happy Socks. It appears that Michael likes to add a pop of colour to his look. Last time it was a white sole on his shoes; this time it’s socks.

Russell Crowe: The Australian actor was the only one who wore a coat. The black overcoat was worn with an ink-blue two-button suit and light-blue shirt, which he again opted to wear sans tie.

HBO’s ‘True Blood’ Season 6 Premiere Menswear Round UpA cast of handsome vampires (and a werewolf) came out to play yesterday for the season 6 premiere of HBO’s ‘True Blood’ at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California.

Stephen Moyer: Opting to go tie-less, the actor was the picture of relaxed ease on the red carpet in head-to-toe Ferragamo. Even with the dark navy suit appearing slightly crinkled, Stephen pulled it off with one glance of his steely stare.

Alexander Skarsgard: The Swedish stud wore a light gray Calvin Klein suit which was juxtaposed with a black tie. Polished and dapper… just like we’d expect.

Joe Manganiello: Taking an even more formal route than Alexander, Joe suited up in a double-breasted black jacket and slim-fit pants by John Varvatos, paired with a white shirt and skinny black tie. His scruffy beard and long hair put the edgy cool factor back into this buttoned-up look.

Menswear Monday Night Round Up

We haven’t seen many guys on the red carpet over the last two weeks; however, they were out in full force for the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards in LA, the ‘Man of Steel’ world premiere in New York and the ‘Summer In February’ gala screening in London on Monday night.

Zachary Levi: The actor showed love again for the British retailer Reiss, who decked the handsome actor out for the ‘Man of Steel’ premiere in a grey three-piece suit which fit to perfection. Opting to go sans tie, the actor styled his look with a white shirt and black derbies.

Zachary Quinto: The other well-dressed Zachary attended the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards wearing a slightly creased Todd Snyder maroon suit with a printed shirt; he also opted to go sans tie, completing his look with brown wingtip shoes.

Dan Stevens: The actor formerly known as cousin Matthew attended the ‘Summer In February’ gala screening in London yesterday evening. He donned a very sleek and shiny grey suit with a black trimmed shawl collar, which he styled with a black satin tie, white shirt and black shoes. Even though he has rubbed many up the wrong way with his glossy Hollywood makeover, I will say he has never looked better.
