Rob Pattinson In Gucci – 7th Annual GO GO Gala

Rob Pattinson In Gucci - 7th Annual GO GO Gala

It looks like I was a bit hasty to bring menswear to a close as I forgot Robert Pattinson.

The British actor attended the 7th annual GO GO Gala held at Montage Beverly Hills on Thursday (November 13) in California wearing Gucci Fall 2014 uber-cool espresso hued wool crepe notch lapel Dylan suit, styled with a pale blue dress shirt and brown leather lace ups.

The overall look is smart with a laidback vibe.

I must admit I am quite taken by the colour. It would seem shades of brown in menswear are winning me over this week.

The real news here is his hair. A drastic cut to say the least, but is it for a movie role, or did he just lose a bet?

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup 14 nov

Here is a final roundup of some dapper menswear looks this week.

Brad Pitt: The actor is in Seoul, South Korea, where he attended the premiere of his latest movie, ‘Fury’, on Thursday (November 13). Flying solo on the red carpet, the actor wore a black three-piece look from Salvatore Ferragamo’s Fall 2014 collection which he made all the more swoon-worthy with just a simple black tee and rugged boots. There was a time when he was starting to lose his appeal, as homeless chic wasn’t really working for me, but this sees a return to form.

Channing Tatum: The actor made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Wednesday night (November 12) wearing his second windowpane suit of the week. This time his blue peak-lapel suit styled with a pale-blue shirt and navy tie was from his favoured brand, Gucci. I have to say, blue is his colour; I think I prefer this over the grey Dolce & Gabbana look from earlier in the week. Which do you prefer?

David Gandy & Jamie Redknapp In Thom Sweeney – Thom Sweeney Store Opening

David Gandy & Jamie Redknapp In Thom Sweeney

Thom Sweeney has been the go-to designer for British celebs both home and abroad, plus the likes of the well-dressed James Marsden have also been spotted donning the designer’s well-tailored suits.

Last night (November 13) a few of Thom’s fans joined him for the opening of his new Ready to Wear & Made to Measure Store in located at 33A Bruton Place, London, England.

David Gandy: Always topping best-dressed lists, he is likely to achieve that feat once again wearing a Thom Sweeney light-grey double-breasted suit, light-blue cotton shirt and speckled charcoal wool tie. Yes, I did swoon, firstly at the overall sheer magnitude of how impeccable he looks, and secondly because I got lost in those blue eyes.

Jamie Redknapp: Always well-dressed and often in Thom Sweeney, I was not surprised to see the former soccer star in attendance with his Isabel Marant-clad wife, Louise Redknapp. While she opted for a more laidback look which including an Isabel Marant embellished wool jacket which is to die for, he looked as sharp as ever wearing a Thom Sweeney dark-grey single-breasted suit styled with a light-blue cotton button-down shirt and a dark-green tie.

Dilemmas, dilemmas, who wore it best? I’m gonna flip a coin for this one.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of some of the gents who have been taking to the red carpet this week.

Jason Sudeikis: The actor looked very handsome attending the ‘Horrible Bosses 2′ London premiere with his good lady wife, Olivia Wilde, last night (November 12), looking very dashing in his three-piece windowpane suit. There is something very Gordon Gekko about this look, with the contrasting gingham shirt and checked tie. Does this look check all the right boxes for you?

Channing Tatum: The handsome actor attended a screening of ‘Foxcatcher’ on Tuesday (November 11). Also wearing a windowpane suit of the three-piece variety, the actor was wearing Dolce & Gabbana instead of his usually favoured Gucci. For someone whose off-duty style consists of baggy clothes, he sure does look good in a slim-fit suit.

Common: The handsome rapper/actor attended the AFI FEST premiere for ‘Selma’ on Tuesday (November 11). Wearing a Calvin Klein Collection Fall 2014 two-button notched-lapel chocolate-brown suit with a matching shirt and skinny tie, call me a hypocrite, but chocolate never looked so good.

‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ London Premiere Menswear Roundup

'The Hunger Games Mockingjay – Part 1' Menswear Roundup

We’ve seen what the leading ladies wore for the world premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ held at Odeon Leicester Square on Monday (November 10) in London, England, so here’s a quick roundup of the leading men.

Liam Hemsworth: Decked out in a Dolce & Gabbana, the actor looked very handsome wearing a classic three-piece suit with a polka dot pocket square. I hope he serves up some variation in his suiting this time around. I’m not holding my breath.

Josh Hutcherson: Now this is more like it. Josh electrified the red carpet wearing a cobalt-blue Ralph Lauren Black Label suit styled with Christian Louboutin shoes.

Sam Claflin: Usually the one I look to for his unique take on mens red carpet dressing, as he tends to steer away from opting for just black all the time, I am surprised by how much I didn’t like this Prada look. I would only save the double-breasted bordeaux jacket, as I was put off by the strict buttoned up shirt and grey trousers, plus I am missing his signature printed scarf which would’ve jazzed up this look.

Looking at Sam, it’s clear that in parts the lighting at this event was too harsh.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

men

Here is a quick menswear roundup featuring three – one especially – very handsome fellas.

David Beckham: The former soccer star, who is now lending his bearded face to whisky, attended the press conference for Diageo Korea ‘Haig Club’ held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Wednesday (November 5) in Seoul, South Korea. Like Scotch Whisky, David gets better with age, looking oh so very handsome in his Ralph Lauren Black Label suit in dark navy.

Matthew McConaughey: The actor broke his Dolce & Gabbana run to wear a Dsquared² checked suit while attending the ‘Interstellar’ premiere held at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC on Wednesday. Methinks this is his best suit this week in terms of fit and style.

Eddie Redmayne: After a mammoth effort promoting their new movie, ‘The Theory of Everything’, Felicity Jones handed over the reins to Eddie, who was flying solo on the red carpet at the Smithsonian National Museum Of American History on Thursday (November 6) for the Washington, DC premiere wearing a Gucci suit. As we would expect, the colour is non-traditional, the fit is impeccable, the styling even more so, and the man is impossible to stop on this current form.
