Britney Spears for Kenzo La Collection Memento N°2

Kenzo have just announced that Britney Spears – the princess of pop – stars in their KENZO La Collection Memento N°2 campaign.

The singer turns back to clock to that pig-tailed school girl we all fell in love with, in these instantly iconic images.

La Collection Memento N°2 focuses heavily on denim and was inspired by the 1986 Paris runway debut of KENZO Jeans. But a more esoteric theme is ‘Icons’. The KENZO motifs (the tiger, The Great Wave of Kanagawa) are all featured heavily.

What could at first seem an unusual trifecta, actually makes total sense when one learns that the collection is all about icons.

Britney is certainly an icon and the quintessential queen of denim – if you think back to her 2001 American Music Awards double denim moment with then boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

Lindbergh captured Britney in all her American Dream glory and beauty. Shot in Los Angeles, the campaign is a bit cheeky, optimistic, and joyous – the perfect combination for KENZO – La Collection Memento N°2.

In the campaign, Britney can be seen wearing pieces from the KENZO – La Collection Memento N°2 which will be available at kenzo.com, and KENZO stores globally from 21st March.

Kendall Jenner stars in the Missoni Spring 2018 Ad Campaign

Gigantic pictorial patchworks by the American artist Rachel Hayes are suggestively framed by White Sands National Monument and transformed into poetic multicolored extensions of the Missoni collections and guiding themes of the new Summer 2018 Campaign.

Conceived by Angela Missoni and shot by star fashion photographer Harley Weir, Kendall Jenner appears sinuous and filiform; resonating mystique and glamour. The face is hidden by the extra-large, fluidly-draped brims of Missoni hats in concentric stripes, as though they were umbrellas grazing the shoulder and shielding her from the searing New Mexico sun.

Jenner is the protagonist, together with model Filip Roseen, in imagery that portrays the looks from Missoni’s Women’s, Men’s and Eyewear Collections for Summer 2018.

Visions of an ode to natural charm and beauty are sensually and boundlessly energized through color. An expression of Missoni’s language, color unfolds in iconic vertical-and-horizontal stripes as well as the heterogenous rectangles found in Rachel Hayes’ work: patchworks of soft, sensual polychromatic silk that create sumptuously fluid designs against the dazzling monocromia of the glimmering desert landscape. They become shaded, transparent backdrops superimposed upon the azure skies painted in the background while filtering rays of sunlight; fluttering flags, billowing sails distended by the wind. Trails of material and tails of color generate a spectacular continuum within the garment, transforming it into a pulsating and infinite emblem.

Gigi Hadid and Kate Moss star in Stuart Weitzman’s Spring 2018 advertising campaign

I was surprised to learn that this Stuart Weitzman Spring 2018 advertising campaign was the first time Gigi Hadid and Kate Moss have been photographed together.

Shot by renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino, the images capture two iconic supermodels embodying the brand’s multi-generational appeal while showcasing the essential silhouettes of the season.

With a nod to Stuart Weitzman’s legendary past campaigns and a look into the brand’s exciting future, the international supermodel pairing captures the essence of strong, powerful women.

The campaign takes a step in a bold, new creative direction with the addition of male supermodel Jordan Barrett, featured sans shoes.

Bella Hadid stars in the Giuseppe Zanotti Spring 2018 Ad campaign

Bella Hadid reprises her role as the star of Giuseppe Zanotti’s advertising campaign, which was lensed for the first time by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

The powerful series captures the spirit of the new collection. Inspired by the idea of an endless summer, the evocative images channel a ‘90s sensibility.

Bella demonstrates both strength and femininity. She’s both commanding and at ease.

Case in point: For ‘Eliza,’ a light blue sling-back covered in iridescent pearls, she leans back on the studio chair, legs ever so stretched. Her attitude is rock-and-roll. Her focus is laser.

When wearing the ‘Kendra,’ a moto-inspired, cut-out bootie with separate strap-on leather sheath, she fills the frame with seductive coolness.

While in the ‘Aleesha,’ a streamlined slide with golden hardware and a complementary serpent-shaped anklet, she exudes contemporary cool. And finally for the, ‘Agnes,’ spring’s green neoprene cut-out stiletto, her vibe is edgy yet sensuous.

“This campaign really represents the authentic energy of the brand—modern, sensual, powerful,” says Giuseppe Zanotti. “And then there’s Bella, back for a second season, who brings with her a rock-and-roll attitude that’s also playful and seductive. The overall effect is compelling, contemporary, arresting.”

Giovanni Bianco provided the art direction, while Carine Roitfeld styled the shoot.

Jennifer Lawrence stars in the new Dior Cruise 2018 ad campaign

For the Dior cruise 2018 campaign, actress and muse Jennifer Lawrence was photographed by Brigitte Lacombe.

In a setting of organic outlines and gentle atmosphere, Jennifer Lawrence embodies the 2018 cruise collection’s singular femininity, and its special connection to nature.

We see the actress wear a mixture of long dresses, long vests whose motifs evoke desert flowers, paired with charm necklaces, and the revisited bar jacket worn in a relaxed manner, with trousers and a white shirt.

The accessories included hats, worn over a headscarf knotted at the neck plus the J’Adior and Lady Dior bags which have been produced in earthy and organic shades, or with a shoulder strap inspired by native American craftsmanship.

Jason Wu to Debut Namesake Fragrance

After launching a makeup collection with Lancome in 2013 and collaborating on a five-piece nail polish collection with CND, Jason Wu is set to launch his first fragrance.

Lily Aldridge looks more gorgeous than ever for the campaign that was shot by Inez & Vinoodh.

If you are quick to connect the dots, you will notice that the nude colour scheme of this campaign and the fragrance is the also the same colour as the custom Jason Wu dress Lily wore at the CFDA Awards.

Those eagle eyed among you’ll also notice that the bottle is the same shape as a bag from the designers Fall 2017 collection.

Jason Wu Eau de Parfum will debut in August in Saks Fifth Avenue.
