Mandy Moore made a striking statement on the red carpet of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

The ‘This Is Us’ actress started the New Year on a bold note in this Rosie Assoulin Fall 2017 gown.

The silhouette of the dress is what gave it its dramatic power, with the sharp halter cut that led into a modified cape back and capacious skirt and train. That, and the arresting red waistband.

I love how Mandy’s lip colour perfectly matched that waistband.
